Hello MariamEssafi. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:MariamEssafi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=MariamEssafi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. This is regarding TSplus. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:31, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I think it is a mistake,
I am not being paid to write an article,
I am just training on my drafts for now, apologies for the confusion :)
thank you MariamEssafi (talk) 15:33, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
I'm not sure what you're disputing, exactly?
Yes, it's true that you haven't written an article or even a draft, per se, because what you just submitted for pre-publication review was a blank page. But an earlier version of that page talks about a company named TSplus, and the 'short description' meta tag still says "TSplus is a company specialized in software edition for remote access". So I think it's fair to assume that you are at least trying to write about this company.
As for being paid to write, you don't need to be explicitly paid to write this article specifically or even to edit Wikipedia in general. If you're working (be it as an employee or contractor) for the company you're writing about, then by definition you come under our paid-editing rules.

MariamEssafi, I want to be very, very clear here. Your relationship to TSplus, which you've denied ("I am not associated with the company"), is a critical problem. Your very next edit must be to fully, completely, and honestly disclose the exact nature of your relationship with TSplus. This is not optional, you are attempting to mislead us and are violating out Terms of Use and WP:UPE. This is not acceptable and you must immediately rectify the situation. No more false claims that you have no association with the company, okay? --Yamla (talk) 12:24, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, this is a critical problem.
MiriamEssafi, disohesty is not appreciated. Your association with TSplus is made abundantly clear by your other online presences under your name.
If you plan to use this account for personal use without ever writing anything about or connected to TSplus, then you should at least put a conflict-of-interest disclosure on your user page.
If you plan to write in behalf of, or about, TSplus, then you must make a paid editing disclosure on your user page instead, using the template described in the notice above.
Either way, to avoid your account being blocked, your very next edit must be a disclosure. ~Anachronist (talk) 14:56, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for letting me know,
Could you please let me know what steps I should take to make that ?
I was unaware that was possible.
thank you MariamEssafi (talk) 14:58, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I posted a message a month ago at the start of this section. The instructions for disclosing your paid editing are provided there. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:00, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you ! MariamEssafi (talk) 15:01, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just put this template on your user page User:MariamEssafi:
{{paid|user=MariamEssafi|employer=TSplus}}
Use the source editor to paste that template with the double curly braces. ~Anachronist (talk) 15:05, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
