Mariah: Short bibliography, but this is really the most relevant source, so that's okay. Good outline of relevant material; you had some help with that, but that's expected given the technical nature of the information. Your draft is very good. I would leave out the part about different levels of differentiation and just stick with the description of species and subspecies (that's what this refers to). Remember to be consistent with your formatting of scientific names: the species name is always capitalized and the specific and subspecific names are not. All three are italicized. Normally quotes are discouraged, but in this case I think they are acceptable because paraphrasing these descriptions could lead to inaccuracies.
