If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on TheConceptBank.org requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. –Ammarpad (talk) 12:29, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of The Parallel Show

[edit]

Hello Marhound,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Parallel Show for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hello, Marhound. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Unnoticed Art, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Ways to improve The Parallel Show

[edit]

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Marhound, thanks for creating The Parallel Show!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The article lacks references to independent, reliable sources. All references are either associated with or written by van Lent himself.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Ways to improve Frans van Lent

[edit]

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Marhound, thanks for creating Frans van Lent!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. As with all the articles related to van Lent, the sources in this article are almost exclusively by, or associated with van Lent. Interviews are not independent sources and cannot be used in the way that you do here. Here's my suggestion: start with a list of sources, discard everything that van Lent is directly involved with and then build the article by summarizing what those independent sources say. I have the distinct impression that van Lent is (I can't say directly or indirectly) involved in creating the pages as a way of promoting his work. Just so this is clear; Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion and promotional articles will be deleted. Also important is our guideline on managing a Conflict of interest. Please review it carefully.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Please refer to out notability guide for organizations, Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) to get a better sense of what is required to establish notability.
