Oh dear

[edit]

When starting questions on user talk pages - always best to go to the bottom! That is the general location. There are usually in locations in Australia that have active editors - the actual practicalities of whether there are people able to help at a face to face level is

another thing again... there are quite a few issues. It is best to ask at the project

talk page - https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_South_Australia

but patience is worth having in heaps... either by time or in possible limitations. JarrahTree 11:45, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you're talking about your user page, that is because you have to create it! Everything in Wikipedia is user generated, including your userpage
I would recommend you take a look at Help:Introduction if you haven't already. It'll give you a great overview of the basics of editing on Wikipedia. Also, when you're logged in to Wikipedia, you don't have to manually type your username, you can just type four tildes (~~~~) and it will automatically sign with your username as well as when you made the comment in Zulu time. If you have questions, feel free to ask! - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 14:27, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Adelaide

[edit]

In response to your mis-placed query here, what you're looking for is Wikipedia:Meetup/Adelaide, though it looks like no Adelaide event has been held in a while, so you might try the talk page of that page and see if people are interested in doing another one.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  06:58, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please explain what my editing pattern is that gives you that impression.

You've been actively asking for editing help, and there's someone else who just happens to want to promote Ellis' invention citing the same patent that you have? That doesn't seem independent. Star Mississippi 01:46, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
