Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with… I'm trying to establish a preliminary/ basic biographical article about my boss, a scientist, who will want to work on it in the future. Will I be able to transfer the ownership/authorship to him after I get it up on the page? Or should HE create an account, and then I can put the basic article in there for him to work on?

Anyone can edit (most) articles on Wikipedia. To create an article, I recommend using AfC (articles for creation). To do that first create a page by typing Draft:Name of article here into the search bar and then clicking create source, and add this to the top:{{AFC submission|T}}. When you are ready to create the page press the green button at the bottom. If you don't understand, leave a note on my talk page. Hope I have helped, Ethan. (edit conflict)First Welcome to Wikipedia. There is no ownership on Wikipedia anything you submit here is free for anyone to alter or copy without permission. In order for an individual to have an article it should be written by somebody who is not connected to him in some way (ie. an employee). The other and most important factor is they must be notable by the English Wikipedia's standards. For people this is explained in WP:BIO. It may be helpful to also read through WP:42 to help understand the references we will require to prove every fact in the article. If you or your employer are set on writing about them read through WP:COI as well. Finally if you think that all the previous conditions are met I would suggest you start the article in the draft space at Wikipedia:Drafts. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Draft:Steven R Tannenbaum, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.spoke.com/people/steven-tannenbaum-3e1429c09e597c100372f634.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
