Speedy deletion nomination of Dennis deen
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Dennis deen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Crosstemplejay 19:42, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- this is ridiculous everything ive written about dennis deen is 100 percent truth! i guess jealously is a bitch ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marc Stien (talk • contribs)
- In a Talk page comment, you asked what was needed for the article. The templates above can be a bit intimidating but they do include some links to WP:Your first article, an article that I highly recommend before attempting your draft. In this case, the problem is not the truth or falsehood of the content but whether it meets Wikipedia's generally accepted inclusion standards for biographies. Many things are true but don't belong in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia's inclusion standards are based on the concept of "notability". That is, we write about and synopsize things that other people have already written about. Links to or references to multiple mainstream magazine articles about the person, documentation of national level awards, documentation of the subject's influence on the genre or on other notable players, etc. might be examples of the evidence needed to show that the inclusion standards have been met. Hope that helps. Rossami (talk) 20:25, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

SECOND OFF you musicians should know who i am writing about and give credit where credit is due , im quite sure plenty of people in the world have heard of him am i the only one i think not , i hear hes been working attila csihar from mayhem but i could be wrong ? I just thought id look him up on wiki and to my surprize i could nt find him perhaps an administrator or real journalist should re write my article , theres so many musicians ive never heard of on wiki now a days Dennis Deen tears new ground as a player and someone should put him in the wiki family of artists , i dont even play any instrument and i know who he is he very popular within nyc scene and i know he loves randy rhoads and all things metal i ve seen him live at least 5 times hes great! just a fan have a great day wiki thanks again for your help anti paste etc peace and be well i give for now ! :( ps i can all of my info to any one who can fix this and dennis was actually cool enough to give me his personal email so i have that as well . Can someone give me an idea of why I cannot put up article about an american guitarist named dennis deen and why it keeps getting deleted? I may not be a journalist or anything but i know what i have written about dennis deen is accurate. Is this some illuminatti satanic club or something , i thought this was wiki a great source of info and truth !? Ive read the instructions through and through,Am I not writting something correctly ? ihave an email for dennis deen that i can give you if you want to talk to him to verify his credentials . ?????? wtf !?!?!?!? wiki does someone have a thing for him or me whats gives ? can u please help figure this out ?
- If you want the article to stick, you need to provide reliable sources that attest to the subject's notability. Please read WP:MUSIC for the notability guidelines for musicians. Basing an article on facts you know but have no sources to would qualify as original research, which is not accepted by Wikipedia. You can keep a draft of the article in your user space if you want, that way it will not risk getting deleted a third time and possibly salted. You can leave me a message on my talk page if you'd like help starting an article within your own user space. XXX antiuser eh? 21:25, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
