Notes:

  • 'Alternate Names' - created this column because it appears that many of these ships have nicknames (especially within the diving community), or are known by a name they carried in some past capacity.
  • 'Year' - I think that year alone is sufficient info for a list page.
  • Wiki links - not sure how thorough we should be about repeatedly linking locations within the same table (i.e. linking Key Largo on each instance). I linked on each instance because the table is sortable, so I can't truly link only the first instance, but that's probably unnecessary.

Wow - I didn't know that sortable tables were available! If we use footnotes, as in your example, hopefully to link a reference for each one, but these could contain additional information e.g. exact date of wrecking. The only downside of tables is that they can frighten inexperienced users from adding new entries Viv Hamilton 22:07, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
