Conflicts of interest
[edit]If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. ⬅ ❝Redvers in a one-horse open sleigh❞ 12:36, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Maintenance tags
[edit]In addition to ignoring the above request not to edit an article about yourself, you also removed the maintenance tags from the article. These tags are pretty vital in attracting other editors with experience to bring the article up to our manual of style standards and to prevent the article being deleted for being self-aggrandisement. Please don't remove maintenance tags from articles. Thanks. ⬅ ❝Redvers in a one-horse open sleigh❞ 13:05, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry case
[edit]You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/KewQuorum for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page.-- Atama頭 21:07, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
You may contest this block by adding the text
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but please read our guide to appealing blocks first.Maplep (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I have read the conflict of interest discussion and agree quite clearly that I should not have contributed. However whilst James Peters and KewQuorum may have acted in consort as "sock puppets" I did not do so intentionally and understand what the ground rules are. I would ask therefore for the block to be removed so that I might add discussion as I have in the past to other sections over a few years.
Decline reason:
According to the checkuser, you are those other accounts. Any unblock request will need to be made from your main account and address these concerns. TNXMan 16:52, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
