Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Mao2020, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Health communication

[edit]

Hi! I have a quick note about this page. It deals with health, so the chances of you potentially editing on medicine and health information (as opposed to just information about things like history and culture) are higher. For example, if you were to edit on the impact of health communication on the wellbeing of patients, that would be seen as medicine and health information, whereas it wouldn't be if you were to work on a section about the history of health communication. Hopefully that's a good example - I know that this can be a little confusing. It took me a while to get used to this myself.

As such, I would like you to review this training module on editing in this topic area, as it can help prepare you. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:44, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
