Hi Manyminds, I just wanted to ask if you could leave more edit summaries for your edits. Some of your edits don't make much sense, such as your removal of the <references/> tag in Occult; and I can't figure our what your intentions were... Cheers, and happy Wikiing! Occult intro edits

[edit]

First of all, I admit that the current version isn't great either, as it only describes one type of magic, but your edit changed it completely without really improving it - all you did was talk about evocation, which is again only one type of magic, with no rationale as to why, and without really explaining anything clearly. Ideally, if that intro is supposed to cover the whole topic, it should discuss everything briefly. However, as a portal, it should be general, with appropriate links for further information, which neither version really does. I think you should consider a fundamental rewrite with basics rather than talking at length about one type of magic. Also, a lot of your other edits I reverted because you tweaked things wrong; there is a preview button that you should use to look at your layout before you save it. Moreover, a new user with a lot of huge edits always looks a bit suspicious, because no one knows what you know, and especially on pages that no one has edited in months. I would suggest doing things on a smaller scale first, or psting edits on the talkpage for discussion first until people get comfortable with you and your edits. Also, as noted by Fuzzypeg above, I felt your removal of the ref tag (which is needed to generate footnotes) was highly suspicious. MSJapan 04:46, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Manyminds17! Since it has been a month since you nominated the Occult portal for peer review, I hope you received good feedback on how the portal could be improved. If you would like, you could keep the portal listed at the portal peer review for more suggestions for improvement and ask the Wikipedians here for feedback. Also, if you think the portal is ready, you could nominate the portal for featured status. Either way, I hope you've received helpful reviews! Cheers, S.D. 16:09, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that you are a member of Wikipedia: WikiProject Occult

[edit]

I saw that you are a member of Wikiproject Occult; would you like to participate in my new Wikipedia: WikiProject Kabbalah? I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Lighthead 04:44, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm trying to keep updated the list of members of the project. I see that you haven't had any activity since more than 3 years. So I will remove you from the list of members. But don't worry, any time you want to come back, please do so. Just add yourself back again to the list. Thank you. -Legion fi (talk) 11:13, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
