The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PragmaDev RTDS until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on PragmaDev RTDS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 22:46, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Manu, thanks for your remodeling of the article about one year ago; especially the example, since yours is well simpler (better for demonstrating what is such an event-driven FSM). :-) Teuxe (talk) 14:52, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of Unified Modeling Language tools

[edit]

Only products with articles are included in that list. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:12, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting my changes there. It's obvious that the product does have an article now, even though 1) at the time I removed it, it didn't and 2) you created that article. Please note that if you wish to keep the article on Wikipedia, you need to explain why in terms of Wikipedia's notability guidelines. the easiest way to keeping it is to find references to support the fact that it's notable and then voting to keep it on the AfD. I couldn't find any support for its notability, but then I only looked at the first five results in Google. If I had found results, I would have simply tagged it as unsourced but I couldn't so I elected to delete it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:12, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Manu31415. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page PragmaDev Process, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Djm-leighpark (talk) 18:33, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your concern so let me put all this into perspective. First I am the Founder & CEO of PragmaDev. That means in a way that I do not work for PragmaDev but PragmaDev works for me. We receive a lot of research funding so you could see me as a head of a research lab. I wrote this article because I sincerely think what we have done is a substantial contribution to BPMN. Still this is a conflict of interest, so that is why I am very careful to relate anything I write to some independent and reliable source such as a scientific paper.--Manu31415 (talk) 09:02, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou for being open about this, though I do not need to understand the exact relationship. Per the templated warning there are prescribed ways of declaring you are a connected/paid contributor at WP:DISCLOSE / WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE; and I don't think you are compliant with this as required by Wikipedia, though I can appreciate this is likely a good faith ommission. You may ask for more advice at WP:TEAHOUSE if you need it as I have my finger in too many pies today already. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 10:03, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have added a connected contributor template at the top of the talk page to clear things out.--Manu31415 (talk) 12:05, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
