This message has been sent to you to inform you that a case involving Tirgil34 has been filed at SPI, and it has come to my knowledge that you may have prior history with this user. As such, your input may assist with the case. That case can be found at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tirgil34. Krakkos (talk) 23:09, 17 February 2015 (UTC)

@Krakkos: Hi. I just watches some historical articles and I saw him on some articles. I'm not very familiar with that guy, because his edits started before the time I joined Wikipedia. Also, most of his edits reverted by active/involving contributors on article he edited. I suggest to ask admins OR ask major contributors to those article to help you. Anyway, I'll add all of those articles to my list. I'm a minor-editor and most of my edits are minor, and I watch for disruptive edits, vandalism, and etc. Regards. --Zyma (talk) 13:00, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
And if you're interested give me a list of those articles to watch. Maybe I can help you. --Zyma (talk) 15:59, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

Nowruz

I've added my edits again on the Nowruz page, which you removed. My argument is that if we add countries (instead of ethnic groups) we have to include ALL the countries where Nowruz is being held (which also means Denmark, Germany, Italy, USA etc. --Ahmetyal (talk) 19:09, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

@Ahmetyal: Well... Let's discuss it on Talk:Nowruz. It's necessary, because maybe other editors have different opinions. Start a new section (like your above comment), and I write my opinion there. --Zyma (talk) 19:40, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

Massive pov pushing on the Nowruz page?

Thanks for asking for a semi-protected version of te page. At the moment, a certain Kurdish user is trying to "denationalize" the celebration and trying to push a pro-ethnic stance for the ethnicity. I'm sure he's doing this because, as of yet, Kurdish people don't have a nation, so the motives I can understand. But it's highly disruptive in my opinion as it's recognized only in nations, and not in ethnic territories (such as the non-existing "kurdistan") What do you think? :) Orangesaft (talk) 12:18, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

@Orangesaft: I wrote my opinion on that article talk page. Any massive content changes need to be discussed on talk page. --Zyma (talk) 16:22, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

I need some advice. This user has deleted links to Grace Knapp's books (unbeknownst to the user, I presume) on the article:

and so far has failed to provide any valid reasons for her edits. Please let me know how to deal with this situation on the talk page. --92slim (talk) 15:55, 31 March 2015 (UTC)

@92slim: Why me? --Zyma (talk) 23:39, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
Apparently it's fixed already. Thanks nevertheless :) --92slim (talk) 12:33, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Okay. --Zyma (talk) 12:41, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Editing through proxies

Hi - best to ask at the WP:HELP DESK, someone there should have the expertise to tell you what you can do and how. Dougweller (talk) 12:54, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

That was just what I was going to recommend, because I haven't set up a VPN. Ian.thomson (talk) 14:34, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

JSTOR application

Hello Zyma! I am hoping to get a JSTOR login to you, however, you don't seem to have email enabled here on Wikipedia. I need an active address to get it to you. If you don't want to attach an email to your account (which you can do in "Preferences", you can also email me at earleypat@hotmail.com so I have your address). whichever works best for you. Thanks, The Interior (Talk) 14:52, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Tirgil34

The long term abuser/vandal is back with new proxies. Check the new SPl case regarding him and the articles of Indo-Iranians, Iranian peoples, etc. Additionally, the ipv6 that belongs to the sockmaster have commented on Scythians in an opposite manner in order not to be noticed. But despite these attemps, it is obvious that the proxy belongs to this sockmaster. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.219.138.111 (talk) 14:22, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

@176.219.138.111: Hi. I decided to not involve myself in that long-term abuse anymore. Because this is an organized POV-pushing by a team. It seems they are supported by an organized group, perhaps they are well-paid and this is their job. As I said several times, this is a serious case, and it needs serious attention by admins. If English Wikipedia is weak against disruptive editors, admins should work on it, not regular editors like me. You can report him by yourself. No need to have a WP account, but it's better to have one. My talk page vandalized by some trolls and problematic editors from various countries. It's not easy to deal with all of those vandals. So please report him to related admins and boards. They can solve it. Zyma (talk) 05:26, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
@Zyma: l see. But since he use various proxies, it is sometimes hard to catch him on SPl cases. l agree with you, this is mostly admin's problem. But some admins are conservative and do not pay attention to this problem enough. lt would be nice if you offer me and others some adminds. ln addition, if you notice his other socks and accounts on internet, please add them on LTA board.
Note: He has some co-workers but i don't think that they are "organized group". The additions are mostly belong to same sockmaster who obssessed with racial issues maybe because of discrimination in Germany against immigrants from Turkey. Anyway, again thank you for your efforts on this problem. Bests.

Sigh >.<

Some people are so tiresome as you probably noticed. - LouisAragon (talk) 06:37, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

@LouisAragon: Report to WP:ANI or ask a 3rd party opinion. That article is a mess and I don't involve myself again. --Zyma (talk) 10:51, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Kimek Khanate

Hello, Zyma -- I just noticed this edit to Kimek Khanate [1], and I was wondering whether you could disambiguate "Nizami". Corinne (talk) 01:06, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

@Corinne: Hi Corinne. That citation is a part of the book Opuscula Altaica. I think this might be helpful for you. --Zyma (talk) 19:29, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Tajik language page edits

Hi Zyma,

Thanks for your message. My changes were intentional for specific reasons, but you're right in that I did not explain them on the edit summary. I will reinstate them with an accompanying edit summary... thanks!

——— Hello, I'm Zyma. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Tajik language without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
