Request reason:

Hi @Bbb23:. First, thank you for your responsding to my request. Second, I want to tell you that the ban that you prevented to me from using the English Wikipedia on 27 December 2017 was the first prevent to me. I think that your sentence was harsh for me because you prevented me from English Wikipedia permanent prevention without receiving any warnings from anyone before the ban. I think it was cruel and unworthy punishment for me. And the issue of multiple accounts I did not know that it is prohibited, and I did not create it to avoid any prevention because I originally did not prevent before, and I made it in the name of الملكاوي, even if I want to hide and be careful and undercover I would choose the name of non-Malkawi but I was frank. So I hope to remove the ban because I was unaware of the policies.-- Malkawi99 (talk) 22:40, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi, for anyone who reads what I write, I hope this text finds you well. I ask for forgiveness for my mistake, and would like to have my ban removed for several reasons. First of all, I am aware that what I did four years ago about the issue of creating the two accounts is wrong, and I apologize for any mistake I made. I swear I was not aware of the policies and instructions. At that time, I was a school student, and I was ignorant of everything about Wikipedia. Currently, I became aware of the policies, and has a good behavior in Arabic Wikipedia. I am an editor (محرر) in the Arabic Wikipedia. Also, I am in my final year at university and I am studying English literature, so I am interested in English. I think the ban is harsh, and it is no longer necessary because I understand what is forbidden to me, and I will not do it again, and instead I will make productive contributions, from which Wikipedia will develop and my English will improve. The ban that permanently prevented me from editing on the English Wikipedia on December 27, 2017 was my first ban. However, I was banned without receiving any warnings from anyone before the ban. Therfore, I think that the ban is unfair and has been around for a long time. In the end, I'd like to say that I do not like anyone to get a bad impression of me, so I would like to change my behavior here in particular.

Anyone here can ask about my behavior in the Arabic Wikipedia, because I've had a good behavior in the past three years.

Accept reason:

It's been several years, and you've apparently become a constructive editor on other projects. I'm unblocking you so that you can have a second chance on English Wikipedia. Please be aware that rules can differ between projects, so you should take a look at our local policies and guidelines. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 11:56, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@علاء: I'm sorry to bother you with our wiki-drama, but do you have any input on this editor's behavior on Arabic Wikipedia? Our unblocking process encourages blocked editors to contribute to sister projects, which counts in their favor. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:44, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello NinjaRobotPirate, hope you are doing well, and I am happy to help We faced the same issue with Malkawi99 at Arabic Wikipedia before 3 years, and blocked him three times on arwiki. After talking with him, we found that all of his "wrong/bad" edits were caused by his lack of knowledge of Wikipedia policies and guidelines, so some arwiki users helped him to understand these policies, and actually his contributions have improved greatly since the beginning of 2019 and he is now an active contributor on Arabic Wikipedia. Al-Wad Sayed Al-Shaghal moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Al-Wad Sayed Al-Shaghal, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ramez Movie Star, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Presenter. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Reminder to mark as completed

[edit]

Hey there, I just wanted to post this to let you know that you seem to have implemented a semi-protected edit request at 7 April 2022 over at Talk:Jean-Claude Van Damme but you didn't mark the request as answered. You can do so by changing the |answered parameter on the edit request from 'no' to 'yes'. Doing so will make sure other editors aren't stumbling across the edit request looking to implement it only to find it's already been implemented. It's also courteous to leave a message on the edit request that it's been implemented by you and I believe it's mandatory to include attribution in the edit summary such as "Implementing edit request by <x> - <reason>" because of copyright reasons.

Of course it's also totally possible that you didn't see the edit request and just implemented the change on your own accord, in which case you can ignore this message.

Thanks anyway for the contribution(s) and all the best. ★Ama TALK CONTRIBS 13:32, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 213.139.52.204. Today, I opened Wikipedia to start editing but was shocked that my IP address has been globally blocked by @ST47: ProxyBot. It is shown that the IP address or range 213.139.52.204 has been globally blocked (disabled) by him. I think I did nothing wrong. However, my block will expire in 5 days but I want to know further information to avoid any issues. It is shown that I was blocked since I change my IP address by proxying my browsing traffic through another user's computer. I don't use VPN or something like that, but nowadays, I am working from home as a data associate at Amazon. Our working depends on using VPN, so I connect VPN on other cities to work on data. And I connect my computer to my home wifi which I use it in editing on Wikipedia. Is this related to the issue? Malkawi99 (talk) 22:40, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I can't speak on many of the technical aspects you are referring to, but it appears you are able to edit from this account again. If this is a reoccurring issue, you may want to request an IP block exemption on your account through the UTRS. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:59, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Sohaib Al-Malkawi

[edit]

Hello Malkawi99, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sohaib Al-Malkawi, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sohaib Al-Malkawi.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Clearfrienda}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
