Please do not create pages about yourself. Aside from the fact that it is difficult to keep a neutral point of view, if you are notable, someone will eventually make a page about you. Please see: Wikipedia:Autobiography --Dgies 07:08, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is not about me, but close. This is my Wife. She is referenced several places in the Wikipedia, but there is no link for details. Thought I would flesh it out. I was going to do the same for her co-author C. Scott Littleton. Seems a shame to do one and not the other just because I'm her huband.
Fine, but you still need to show why she is notable enough for inclusion in the encyclopedia. Please see Wikipedia:Notability (Academics). Also, please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you have created. If you contest the deletion, add a {{hangon}} tag and explain your views on the talk page. --Dgies 07:24, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
National Georgaphic just interviewed her as one of the leading experts on King Arthur. Thought I'd build up some place for people to learn more (and there is a lot more) :-Dan
OK, add a {{hangon}} tag and note that. It's some evidence in favor of notability. Sorry to be such a hard-ass, but Wikipedia is constantly being bombarded with people (especially new users) trying to create articles about themselves or subjects of minor importance, so we need to be vigilant. --Dgies 07:39, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Glad the cleaners are keeping it clean. I hope I can help grow the overall human knowledge base :-Dan
I added some stuff about the theories concerning Lucius Artorius Castus and the Sarmatians as the basis of Arthurian legend, since that's what she's known for. Removed the tag.Is Littleton an Arthurian scholar too? By the way, have her read this, [1] - a review of King Arthur which contains a critique of her work. Maybe she'll respond to the author. Your additions are great. It is great to start something and see it take off. Thanks. :-Dan
Littleton's main field is Anthropology and Comparative Religon, but he has been working on Arthur for a number of decades

A tag has been placed on C. Scott Littleton, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dgies 07:33, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
