I noticed your messages left on several editors of this article. At least one of them hasn't edited for over five years: she is unlikely to see your note. You seem really bothered by the tone of the article. I would suggest that you simply repair it yourself, rather than leaving COI templates all over the place. Joyous! fair point about the old editors. As for the COI templates, I’m usin’ them as markers while I dig into things—there’s a bigger story here, I reckon. But ye’re right, no sense waitin’ around. I’ll roll up my sleeves an’ start fixin’ the tone myself after research is done. Maklermak (talk) 18:04, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop dropping COI templates everywhere. Be aware that your actions look odd. You have a brand-new account but you are wielding templates like a seasoned user, which does make me wonder if you have edited here before under a different name? Joyous! Noise! 18:29, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I understand how it might look, me droppin' COI templates here an' there with a new account, but I assure ye, this is my first go at it on Wikipedia. I've spent a good bit of time readin' up on how things work around here, which is why I’m keen on followin' the rules, especially when it comes to conflicts of interest.
As for the templates, I’m usin' them like a map, guidin' me through the areas that need a closer look while I gather more information. I'm not here to cause trouble or stir suspicion—just tryin' to do me part in sortin' out what seems like a bit of a mess. Maklermak (talk) 18:55, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
