Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, MakedekaM! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Macedonia (terminology). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Laveol T 00:53, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Talkpage rants
[edit]Please review WP:TALK. Your comment has been repeatedly removed as a political rant intended to provoke rather than a good faith contribution to improving the article. If there is any factual point you want to raise, try to post it again without all the ranting. If you keep up the stale reverting, even "just" at a talkpage, you may find that sanctions can be taken against you under WP:DISRUPT. --dab (𒁳) 09:58, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Intimidations and terminology
[edit]I just hope you do not succumb to the pressures and obvious nationalistic push from well known nationalistic editors. What concerns terminology. Importance of the words that are used is actually in their “use”. A page on terminology does not have its essential impact if it does not have its practical effect. Indeed, there are massive violations of the correct terminology in various texts. If the discussion about correct use of the expressions is started, the proponents of that misuse want always to obstruct the discussion by pointing out that it is irrelevant. In my opinion each page should have a “terminology” section where relative terms are discussed and rational solutions looked for. This page on Macedonian terminology, after fast reading, looks to me well balanced and I support your efforts to preserve it as it is. Laveol is known to me for his nationalistic excesses and you should not be put off by him. Issuing warnings and intimidations is a part of such activity. - Thank you, Draganparis. I know exactly what you are pointing out. Laveol is a nationalistic-biased editor, and that can be seen from a plane in the sky. What's the matter of fact, you can look how he threathened to ban me on this very page if I don't comply with his requests and his politics. Fortunately, I don't have time for idiots. Life's too short to argue with complexed personalities over the interned. Thank you for your support, in any case. MakedekaM (talk) 14:02, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Calling an editor an idiot is indeed a blockable offense.
- Being engaged in a fierce edit-war (that is what I have warned you about in my only message at this page) is indeed a blockable offense as well.
- To summarize: You have been involved in some disruptive behavior, so I can't see why you complain when receiving justified warnings. I won't be reporting you for now, but the next time you call another editor an idiot or anything similar. --Laveol T 15:00, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- I would like to summarize this: you have such a big ego that you really think I was calling you an idiot, which I did not. I never pointed that "Laveol is an idiot", but you took it what you wanted it to mean so you can push your nationalistic propaganda even further. My statement: "Fortunately, I don't have time for idiots" was not connected to anything near you, and was just sheer expression of my disgust of nationalistic idiots that don't have a life besides internet discussion boards, but if you feel like you belong to this group, that is entirely not my fault. There are no "justified warnings" pointed from you - you are just inventing "facts" so you can go on further with your cause. Now I suggest you log off Wikipedia, turn off your computer, and enjoy the wonderful day while walking in the country, in your Bulgaria. ;) MakedekaM (talk) 15:11, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- P.S. Laveol deleted a comment on his talk-page by me, removing my request for his threats (of banning me etc.) to stop. Now that's a really unbiased, well-balanced Wikipedia editor and moderator, I'd say. MakedekaM (talk) 15:14, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, you just said it like that, not meaning anyone. Btw, I didn't say I thought this was aimed at me ;) . Not that this is the topic of the whole conversation here. But since you do not wish to communicate in any normal way, I'll refrain from making further comments on the topic on your talkpage. I'm interested, though, why you didn't put a similar post on the whole "warnings" issue on User:Dbachmann's talkpage. He was the one who warned you that sanctions may be taken against you. --Laveol T 16:45, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
