Great Photos of Sligo
[edit]I love the photos you took of Sligo, some very simple but eye-catching. Luckily the weather here was good on the Ba nk Holiday weekend. The.Q 15:42, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Q!
- My photos are always simple, nothing arty-farty here! The weather was gorgeous but I appreciated the cool breeze at the top of Knocknarea!!! SligoLive was excellent.

Informal advice
[edit]Hi. If you're new around here, it's probably best to avoid the subject of whether "traditional counties" exist or not (e.g. whether Merionethshire still exists). If anyone dares to suggest that it doesn't, then somebody will very (very) likely jump on it very quickly. This is a very touchy subject on Wikipedia: some people have very passionate views about it (see Talk:Traditional counties of England, for instance). Like I say, tread very carefully. In the meantime, keep up the good work, especially with the photographs! --RFBailey 18:35, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. I've already had some flack from the Flat Earth Society. "There are none so blind as those who will not see!"
- Can you see anything wrong with replacing the phrase:
- "It is the county town of the traditional county of Merionethshire (Meirionydd)."
- with:
- "It was the county town of the traditional county of Merionethshire (Meirionydd) but following the re-organisation of local government in 1974 it became part of the new county of Gwynedd."

"Traditional counties" vandalism
[edit]If you want to understand what is going on at the Welsh local government articles, you would be very well advised to read:
All of the "traditional counties" (sic) articles are being persistently targeted by members of these organisations.
Good luck in trying to bring some NPOV back to these topics. I am willing to assist, so please keep me informed of any vandalism incidents you spot. --Mais oui! 19:27, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! I have already been following your discussions with the 'Flat Earth Society'.

Some support
[edit]Hi there! Was just looking back at a message left for User:Mais oui! and found you had also left a message of simillar content! You seem to take an interest in the whole counties issue.
It is apparent that we hold the exact principles this matter, and trust you have read the official Wikipedia conventions (places) - which dictate that modern geography (as understood to be post 1974) is the one which we should indeed use. Historic counties should be placed as an afternote or secondary.
Do please becareful not to provoke arguements and/or become too frustrated with edit patterns - County Watch vandals can be highly targetted.
Anyway, like I said to Mais oui!, the County Watch vandals are very well organised, and can be highly focussed, should you ever need support or just a chat about this matter, do please feel free to message me, and don't forget we have the full backing of Wikipedia. Thanks for your time, keep up the good work, Jhamez84 22:39, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

John Rhys-Davies
[edit]According to the page here, he was born in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, Wales but the IMDB says he was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, UK. Do you know which is right? GusF 00:02, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- No idea, but he has a home page which is "coming soon". I guess we'll have to wait to find out? But a least I've removed the Manx People cat.
- --maelor 23:04, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've taken a quick look and the Ammanford link looks correct (at least the BBC have it as do a lot of other web sites). So best to leave it at that?
- --maelor 23:07, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- Screwed up badly! He was born in Salisbury. I misread it. Corrected.

Flintshire
[edit]I don't think User:Owain is taking an anti-Welsh language stance by his edit on Flintshire. He has given an explaination of his edit which I agree with. The Welsh language name for the item has is best given in the article and including them all over the place in an English language article decreases readability. If you wish to promote the Welsh language, what would be more constructive is to expand the Welsh language version of the article at: Sir y Fflint - Wicipedia. I don't believe Owain is anti Welsh language, he has on numerous occasions, added Welsh to articles I've created and amended my Welsh. (Sloman 15:06, 28 June 2006 (UTC))
A chance for peace
[edit]Hi again, how are you? Hope you are keeping up the excellent work!
As someone who takes an interest in this field (and conversed with some of its affiliates), I thought I'd bring your attention to A proposal to delete the Traditional Counties Advocates user category.
I'll be as impartial as possible, and let you read the discussion and come to your own conclusions(!). It'd be great to have your input on this subject, however.
Hope all is well, Jhamez84 21:50, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Database lag
[edit]We're having an issue with database lag at the moment -- I'm not a vandal, and in 35,000 edits I haven't vandalised yet, I promise. Sometimes when you rollback you seem to get the "wrong" version. Looks like it's fixed now. Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 15:45, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Call for consensus on fan site list on Andy Murray page
[edit]Hello Maelor,
You've probably noticed my (probably foolhardy) attempt to resolve the edit war on the Andy Murray page regarding fansites. The protagonists do not look about to resolve it among themselves, so I'd appreciate it if you and other regular editors could express your views on this part of the page, so that we can stop the war going forward, or at least block a protagonist who persists in it. Please come to the talk page here
The questions I've put are:
Please can I have the opinions of those who regularly edit this site:
1.Should there be a list of fansites?
2.Should it be ordered
- a) alphabetically
- b) by site's popularity or quality
- c) by some other factor
3. If by popularity/quality how to judge this?

Overton-on-Dee
[edit]To answer your question the county borough page was pointing to 'Overton' (a disambig page) as was the Tim Vincent page. I changed them both to Overton, Wrexham not realising there was the abovenamed article already in existence. On creating the Overton, Wrexham page I then (at the last moment) discovered that Overton-on-Dee and Overton, Wrexham are the same place and made my new page into a redirect. Time then ran out to alter the other two - but I did do 'List of United Kingdom places' which is where I came in. Please look back and you will see I changed neither from Overton-on-Dee. Saga City 15:41, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- Apologies! My fault entirely. When I added to the Wrexham CB page on July 12 I gave an incorrect internal link! The bad link on the Tim Vincent page has been there since April. I just spotted your edit and hadn't checked back further.

[edit]Sorry about the delay - I was away. Could you do it so I don't have to exceed the revert rule? 132.241.246.111 17:58, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi again. I've checked with admins and they suggest that it needs re-writing. It's formatted badly for a WP article (which is why I reverted in the first place) because it needs an explanation as to why it's there (not just a quote). Can you integrate it into the content of the article and link to the external site?

Aberdovey
[edit]See National Assembly for Wales, Ordnance Survey, &c. Owain (talk)
- And as I have already pointed out, see The National Assembly document http://new.wales.gov.uk/topics/localgovernment/localauthorities/gwyneddcouncil/?lang=en (a bit more appropriate to local government than the flower show article?) gives Aberdyfi as does the BBC site http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northwest/sites/aberdyfi/
- you should also take a look at the title of the article!!!
- -- Maelor 14:41, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- You have already pointed those out. I have pointed out counter-examples that prove there is a well-known English-language name. As this is the English-language Wikipedia the English-language name should be used. As for the title of the article, you well know that you cannot use Wikipedia as a reference in Wikipedia. It can and will be moved to the correct Aberdovey. Owain (talk) 14:46, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- Any changes to an article title should, of course, be a matter for general discussion.

Hi Maelor
I'll check this with Gwynedd Council - I suspect that Aberdyfi is now the official form but we'll see what the official list says. There probably won't be a reply until after the Bank Holiday now though. Rhion 15:25, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Maelor.
- I've always written it Aberdyfi, and I'd assumed that "Aberdovey" had gone the way of "Caernarvon" and "Conway". So the Gwynedd council document you said that Owain cites surprises me. But there are also pages on their website that give Aberdyfi instead:
- Puzzled by this, I asked a solicitor I know at the council, and she says "Aberdyfi" is the standard now, adding that "I think some of the English residents spell it Aberdovey, but I rarely see it these days". Not a formal statement on behalf of the council but still... And anyway, I certainly don't know anyone who writes "River Dovey" or "Dovey valley". Maybe we could change the beginning of the article from
Aberdyfi (formerly Aberdovey in English)
- to
Aberdyfi (sometimes Aberdovey in English)
- That seems the best solution to me. I'd certainly be against moving it to Aberdovey. garik 17:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- The person in charge of these things at Gwynedd is on leave this week. I've left her an e-mail. The general view from several members of Gwynedd staff is that it should be "Aberdyfi" on the English version of the Gwynedd web site too. The first person I asked, when told that "Aberdovey" appeared on the Council website responded "Oh my God, I hope it wasn't me that put it there!". Rhion 08:12, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks Rhion. I've also discovered that the local tourism brochure for the town (written in English) has "Aberdyfi" written in large letters across the front! Not a leg to stand on?
- -- Maelor 14:48, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Maelor, I too have been making enquiries regarding Aberdyfi over the weekend, and was actually told by someone in Gwynedd Planning Dept that it is spelled "Aberdovey". However, said official went away to look at a map to check, and indeed my OS map spells it like this. Whatever the situation, it's clearly not as black & white as (e.g.) Dolgelley & Portmadoc which "officiall" became Dolgellau & Porthmadog in the 70's. Neither is it like Cardiff, which is really only "Caerdydd" to Welsh speakers. But whilst it is in this slightly grey area, by far the majority of references refer to Aberdyfi, as you say (no real point in referring to "speakers" - many say the place but don't need to spell it!) and I think that the suggestion to use "... sometimes Aberdovey" is an ideal solution. I'd like to know exactly what the town sign says though ... Hogyn Lleol 16:06, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- No idea about the road sign (but I could guess!) but take a look at http://www.aberdyfi.org/ and click on "Tourism Office". Look at the image there!
- Also note their comment "Don't try 'Aberdovey' on Autoroute - you'll never find us!".
- -- Maelor 17:38, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Helo Maelor, Thought I'd let you know I fully support you on Aberdyfi. When I saw ABERDOVEY in the info box I changed it to ABERDYFI but a certain user changed it back to the anglicised spelling (three times!), even though the last time I compromised by putting ABERDYFI / ABERDOVEY (as it seems both are recognised by the P.O.). Why can't some people accept and respect the Welsh language? Does wikipedia have an official policy guideline on this issue, as i keeps recurring. Some users seem really concerned to keep the use of Welsh language personal and place names (i.e. the true names) to a bare minimum in Welsh articles. En.wikipedia is a widely used resource - with this attitude is it any wonder people from other countries seem surprised to find that Cymru actually has a language of its own?! How do we resolve this? I don't want to spend half my time on en.wikipedia undoing intolerant edits. Enaidmawr 16:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Well done! Your edit stalking and blind reverting of perfectly valid edits has resulted in the page being protected. If you'd like to explain yourself, I'm all ears. Owain (talk) 17:25, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- I requested that the article be protected in its original format. I have made no contribution to the article but respect the views of the people who did. The whole issue of your negative and highly biased edits of any references to England/Scotland/Wales and to outdated placenames is about to be taken to ANI.
- -- Maelor 17:29, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- I protected the article as I see otherwise fine editors on the verge of breaking the three revert rule, please take it as a 'cool down' signal, I don't see any pointers in the Manual of Style, where's best to resolve the issue. --Alf melmac 17:39, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Names of places
[edit]Saw your post on WP:AN/I. Have you tried looking at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (settlements)#United Kingdom? Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wrecsam lager.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Wrecsam lager.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 13:11, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- I agree!!! As you can see, someone keeps changing the words and I suspect that they are getting them from a book! The English version bore no resemblance to the Welsh. So I suspect a non-Welsh speaker. The Welsh for to scratch is crafu so I assume the word is some south-west dialectic version? The original word I put in was scrafo, which seems to match up with the dictionary entry? Anyway, lets change it back! -- Maelor 09:49, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ruabon Grammar School, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Ysgol rhiwabon. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:51, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice
[edit]Hi,
As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.
We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

- I'm not sure on this one Jeremy, so I've avoided doing anything about it! There is also the article on Acton Hall to consider! I agree that the three articles have too much in common and are confusing. Acton Hall was the big house in Acton Park in the village of Acton. The house (and the park) was the estate of the infamous Judge Jeffreys. I've become disillusioned with editing articles about Wrexham. Too many people can't grasp the difference between the articles on Wrexham (the town) and Wrexham county borough, so I've given up editing them! I think the same may true of the three Acton articles. -- Maelor 12:22, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear that Maelor. I will file them on the back burner then, awaiting input from any other interested party. Jeremy Bolwell (talk) 15:15, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Maelor! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 13 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi - I don't know if you are still active on WP as there seems to be some time since your last edit. I hope so for you may be able to help me to resolve a problem wih the Kenrick article and the early history of the Football Association of Wales. In particular, are you able to confirm the date and location of the meeting at which the FAW was founded? The Kenrick article refers to a meeting at the Wynnstay Arms Hotel, Ruabon in May 1876, whereas several other sources (most especially here) refer to a meeting at the Wynnstay Arms Hotel, Wrexham in February 1876. Are you able to shed any light? Cheers. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 07:30, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
Could you take a look at the pictures you take in this category ? If you could move them to the right sub category, it would be really nice. Regards. Zil (talk) 10:45, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Gresfordmem1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gresfordmem1.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Logan Talk Contributions 03:34, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

The article Crasdant has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nikthestoned 10:46, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Voicecornwall.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Voicecornwall.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:Aillwee cave.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

Copyright problem: Gresford disaster
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Gresford disaster, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to contain material copied from Unknown. Given that, according to the article, this was published in the 1930's I suspect that this may be copyright but am uncertain enough about anonymous works in the UK in that period to be sure., and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author to release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Gresford disaster and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". Make sure you quote the exact page name, Gresford disaster, in your email. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License and GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Talk:Gresford disaster. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0", or that the material is released into the public domain, or if you have strong reason to believe it is, leave a note at Talk:Gresford disaster with a link to where we can find that note or your explanation of why you believe the content is free for reuse.
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Gresford disaster saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved.
Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Dpmuk (talk) 03:50, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi, at Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge we're striving to bring about 10,000 article improvements and creations for the UK and Ireland and inspire others to create more content. In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:40, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 10:02, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi. This month The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There is over £3000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. Wikimedia UK is putting up £250 specifically for editors who produce the most quality new women bios for British women, with special consideration given to missing notable biographies from the Oxford Dictionary of Biography and Welsh Dictionary of Biography. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate independently this is also fine, but please add any articles created to the bottom of the main contest page even if not competing. Your participation in the contest and contributing articles on British women from your area or wherever would we much appreciated. Thanks.
Image source problem with File:Anros waiting.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Anros waiting.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:53, 23 April 2018 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 19:53, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
