Do you have more references for your controversy sections? I don't think the sorurces are sufficient for such an allegation. Allegations such as these should have very good wp:reliable sources. I am unfamiliar with the reputation of and this source: https://marsactu.fr/lunite-de-didier-raoult-paradis-de-la-recherche-pour-les-uns-enfer-pour-dautres/ If this is a well-founded issue, there should be many sources. Please see wp:BLP. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 08:23, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not that such an allegation would surprise me, BTW. Jim1138 (talk) 08:26, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[1] here is one more reference. Marsactu is a well estabished local news agency in Marseille. Repeated edits of referenced content is also edit warring.Madman123456 (talk) 17:01, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]

Repeated replacement of content is wp:edit warring and is strongly discouraged. I strongly urge you to read the previous link. Also, see wp:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle on how to proceed. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:38, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Aix-Marseille University. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 18:37, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy section moved to bottom

[edit]

I moved the controversy section to the bottom and added your other ref. If you want the content left, you need to engage in the conversation on BLPN. Jim1138 (talk) 18:42, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

BLPN discussion

[edit]

Removed per wp:BLPCRIME. Since you have not participated in WP:BLPN#Aix-Marseille University and Didier Raoult (your talk on my page did not address the issues), restoration w/o consensus on that page will result in a ticket being opened on WP:AN3 Jim1138 (talk) 00:25, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You were warned

[edit]

I have requested resolution for your actions on WP:BLPN#Aix-Marseille University and Didier Raoult. Engage if you wish. Jim1138 (talk) 22:01, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just an FYI: resolution is often accomplished with wp:blocks and page protection. Is that the outcome you wish? If the event was that significant, why not more publicity rather than just one author on one rag? Jim1138 (talk) 22:32, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
More references the better. Discuss on BLPN link above. Jim1138 (talk) 22:40, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Topic is being discussed at Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Aix-Marseille_University_and_Didier_Raoult - please address matter there and readd the material only if consensus is found for addition. Nat Gertler (talk) 15:09, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please, please, discuss this on BLPN

[edit]

You should be discussing this on WP:BLPN#Aix-Marseille University and Didier Raoult Otherwise you will likely find yourself wp:blocked; if it isn't already too late. Wikipedia has extensive policy about how to proceed with issues involving wp:biographies of living persons. Even if you are right, by ignoring the policy, you can be blocked. It happens time and again. It is frustrating for others to put so much time into this. So, please start a discussion and list your references and such to the BLPN link above.
