License tagging for File:MarthaWall.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MarthaWall.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:31, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Madeline,

I see that you started out with some test edits, and that these got cleaned up by the bots. This is normal for new editors. I also see that your first article, Martha Wall, is taking shape very nicely. Great work!

You can leave a message at my talk page (see my signature at the bottom of this note) if you have any questions or comments about the Wikipedia process so far. Have you felt welcome? Do you feel that you're having a positive impact? Would you like to know more about how to contribute?

Best wishes,

References

[edit]

Hi Madgol,

I've merged a bunch of citations in Martha Wall: you had a separate reference to the book each time you were referring to a different page number. That's not incorrect, but I personally prefer to have one citation to a book, and then to give the page number in a superscript outside the ref tag. It's a personal style decision, though, so if you don't like this style, feel free to undo my edits. --Slashme (talk) 08:39, 22 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
