Sending out warnings to IP addresses
This is just a message for RadioFan. Please delete when read.
This morning I opened a Wiki page (Collio Goriziano, as it happens) to find a message box addressed to me by IP address. I use Wikipedia often and this was the first time I had seen it.
The message was a "warning" that an edit of mine (on a totally unrelated page) had been identified as vandalism and reverted. The edit concerned, from September 2010, is here:
https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Health_system&diff=387363889&oldid=387361879
Now just a little, tiny bit of investigation might have revealed that the IP address in question is dynamically allocated by BT (British Telecom) and the chances of this officious little snipe reaching the right person, 4 years after the crime, were not great.
Thank you so very much for your attention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moixa (talk • contribs) 11:47, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
David Salzberg listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect David Salzberg. Since you had some involvement with the David Salzberg redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 19:06, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
