A tag has been placed on Maddie Tee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. bd_ (talk) 05:48, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ciara Bravo (actor) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.  7  05:53, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Further, recreating the page without addressing the notability issues will just end up with it getting deleted again, and a block may be applied on your account to prevent further edits. You may wish to consider using your user page instead, as notability guidelines do not apply to user namespace articles.bd_ (talk) 06:14, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

[edit]

Hi.

You've already been given a welcome above, but I just wanted to say hello and talk to you a bit about contributing to Wikipedia. We're very glad to have you, and I hope you will enjoy being here and helping us build the encyclopedia.

I see you've had a little trouble with the article about yourself. Being an administrator, I can read deleted content, and I have to say that you sound like a very interesting person, and I won't be surprised if someday you meet our inclusion guidelines for biographies. (Don't feel bad that you don't now; I don't, either. Most of us don't. ) Even when you do, though, you shouldn't write it yourself. The community discourages autobiographies. While we welcome contributions from anybody, we really prefer that people write about things other than themselves.

Given what you wrote in that article, I do want ask you to please be careful what you reveal about yourself here or, really, anywhere on the internet. All kinds of people are interested in information like your name and birthdate and where you live, and they can do things with it that you might not intend. Besides the usual creeps you hear about (and unfortunately, they are out there, and some of them do come here), there's identity theft. The more information you publish about yourself online, the easier it is for somebody to pretend to be you.

Please don't post this article again. Besides being an autobiography and not yet meeting the inclusion guidelines, I'm really worried about how much information it reveals about you. I'm an adult female contributor here, and I don't tell anything about myself, but I've still gotten some pretty weird e-mails from guys who see that I'm a girl and think that gives them a right to hit on me. There's no way I'd publish my real name here. The e-mails are bad enough. I don't want phone calls. Or visitors!

There is a page written especially for contributors in your age group at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. It's a really good guideline to our project, talking about areas where you can contribute and what kinds of things you might encounter along the way. I recommend.

If you run into any problems or have any questions about how things are done, there are a couple of different ways to get help on Wikipedia. We have a forum just for new contributors at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. If you ask a question there, somebody will answer it. Even for people who've been here a long time, Wikipedia:Help desk can be useful. You can even ask your questions right here and as long as you place {{helpme}} (curly brackets and all) next to it, somebody will come to answer your questions.

Again, welcome. Happy editing.. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:55, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ciara Bravo (actor), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
