Speedy deletion of VISTIVE

[edit]

A tag has been placed on VISTIVE requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- [[SRE.K.A.L.|L.A.K.ERS]]call me Keith 02:50, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Smartstax

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Smartstax, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Orphaned, unsourced stub about future product, which hasn't been edited much since April, doesn't state notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Roundup

[edit]

Please don't re add] conflicting information without discussion.--Nutriveg (talk) 02:52, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

September 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Liberty Link, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. You should have added a hangon tag instead of deleting the speedy-delete template. In addition, to support your claims, this article needs verifiable sources and must be written so that it doesn't sound like an advertisement for Bayer Cropsciences. References are required

[edit]

Please be aware that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and requires that all content be appropriately referenced with verifiable sources. The additions of the Acceleron Seed Treatment System, Smartstax, Ignite Herbicide and Liberty Link articles are appreciated, however none of them have any references. It seems that all of these articles should have online references available, so please consult Wikipedia:Citing sources for help on how to add them. You can also use the Template:Helpme template to get assistancefrom other Wikipedia users. Without references, the articles are likely to be deleted, since they would not conform to Wikipedia policy. Thanks, and good editing. Truthanado (talk) 14:09, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding references to these articles. Some further editing enhancements in accordance with Wikipedia:Manual of Style have been made, and the notability tag has been removed. Feel free to keep expanding these articles if you can. Happy editing. Truthanado (talk) 21:37, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Ramrod Herbicide Logo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ramrod Herbicide Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:09, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File:Genuity SmartStax.jpg missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 05:08, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
