Information icon Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did at Rio de Janeiro. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you think that the page should be deleted, please read Wikipedia:How to delete a page. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Hi MaBahS: Your addition of tables of the distritos and bairros at Rio de Janeiro was reverted because User:Chronus thought it was unreferenced; they missed the fact there was a reference to the municipal page before the first table. It also makes the page harder to read; I suggest that a prose list of the distritos would be better, and that the lists of bairros would be more appropriate in the articles on the zones (again, I think they would be better as prose lists than as tables). Unfortunately neither of you used edit summaries except for "Stop!", or discussed at Talk:Rio de Janeiro. I see that you are an experienced editor on other-language Wikipedias, but there are some differences in procedures and conventions between versions, and I also see you have been using the mobile app, which can make it hard to see that a message has been left and to find the talk page for the article. So I've put a welcome template at the top of this page, with information about how we do things, (including the requirement to cite sources, which you actually did, but only once for a very large addition of material, and the need to discuss on the talk page). Thank you for trying to improve Wikipedia, and I know being reverted without an explanation is frustrating, but blanking the page is obviously the wrong thing to do, and please use edit summaries to explain what you are doing and why. I hope the information helps, and I suggest you start a new section at the bottom of the talk page. Yngvadottir (talk) 23:12, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Yngvadottir! Don't worry, I won't continue editing Wikipedia articles. The criteria (procedures and conventions) used on this site are very unfair and only benefit to the administrators (who are often wrong in their decisions). I presented true information that was abruptly deleted by an user, User:Chronus, who may not even know my city and who ignored the official website reference I mentioned. User:Chronus deleted my information without explaining his reasons. User:Chronus is a very bad administrator who should stick to what he really thinks he knows. It is not worth contributing something that will be disregarded by the Wikipedia administrators. Anyway, thank you so much for contacting me. MaBahS (talk) 18:42, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm SunDawn. I noticed that in this edit to Rio de Janeiro, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 14:51, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
