Re:message on my talk page

[edit]

Which club is it? Please be aware that WP has a guideline that, in order to be eligible for an article, a club has to have played in the top 10 levels of the English football league system or in the FA Cup/Trophy/Vase. Articles on clubs that don't meet those criteria are likely to be deleted and I would hate you to put the effort in only for the article to be deleted..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 16:32, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Hornsea Town A.F.C

[edit]

Hello, MWRef92. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hornsea Town A.F.C".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 21:29, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Humber Premier League

[edit]

Thank you for your message and I thought I'd reply on your talkpage rather than mine.

Thank you for all your efforts regarding the Humber Premier League.

Regarding your question, I've never uploaded an image to Wikipedia so I wouldn't know how to do it. However I've looked at the help section and maybe this article will help.

Finally, you may know this already but if not, given that around half of your edits have been about Step 7 leagues, articles about football clubs playing at step 7 or lower will fail Wikipedia's notability criteria unless they previously played at step 6 or above or had participated in the FA Vase. Therefore, your previously intended article about Hornsea Town would have been deleted. Rillington (talk) 17:03, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
