Request to add Mayo Clinic Health System logo
[edit]Hello, I am looking for help changing the current photo on the Mayo Clinic Health System article page. Please replace the current Mayo Clinic Health System image with the following logo: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mayo_Clinic_Health_System.jpg
Thank you! MM from MCHS (talk) 18:21, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I've added the logo just as you requested. Please note that your talk page might not be visited by other editors often, so edit requests may go unnoticed. To bring some attention please consider using
{{edit request}}
at the top the section where you request the edit, either on this page or on the talk page of the target article. Cheers! —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 20:01, 7 September 2022 (UTC)- Thank you for your help, and suggestion. Any chance the old image of Austin hospital can be removed and replaced with the Mayo Clinic Health System logo? Many thanks! MM from MCHS (talk) 21:20, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, since logos are better suited for the infobox at the top right, I don't think adding the same thing again is a good idea due to redundancy. If the hospital's image is no longer relevant, I can remove it. Or if it seems misplaced, I'd suggest that a better position could be under "Facilities" section, where it talks about Austin one in details. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 08:51, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback. Yes, the Austin image can be removed. Also, can you keep the logo where it is in the infobox but remove the title above the infobox that reads "Mayo Clinic Health System" so it is not repetitive? Thanks again. MM from MCHS (talk) 17:40, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, sure I will remove the Austin image soon. For the title above infobox thing, I'm afraid it could not be removed due to infobox restrictions. Usually, in the
|name=
parameter, the official name of the company goes. For example, Google LLC at Google or Microsoft Corporation at Microsoft. But, if that parameter is left empty, the article title automatically shows up at the top of infobox. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 21:05, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
