Delta customer service
I have reverted your change. I agree 100% that "unless this is systemic, one person's bad trip doesn't a Wikipedia article section make" but this is a serious and growing issue for the airline. I think it is systemic. Each and every time anybody places any reference to Delta's service quality issues it get deleted as being "non-neutral" yet all the links to press releases stay? Your thoughts? Best regards... --El-dodo (talk) 17:22, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Then show links to news articles that show it's systemic. Even if you linked to 100 articles, it wouldn't show it's systemic - only an article from a verifiable source which explains it's systemic would be grounds to include this section. --Matt (talk) 17:30, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
usair
Apologies on the all caps. forgot about the rule. thank you. also i am doing more research on usair to clean up the page further. K. Goldberg —Preceding unsigned comment added by KGoldberg (talk • contribs) 16:34, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- No worries - just check out what's around, and try and follow pre-existing content's style, and you should be fine. Cheers --Matt (talk) 17:00, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Costco
http://www.costco.com/Images/Content/Misc/PDF/06Q0211_CostcoStory.pdf This mentions the pizza claim, but as you'll see it needs to be clarified, as it is in terms of pizza sold PER LOCATION, and of course, Pizza Hut, etc. have tons more locations. Not sure how to cite it as it's a PDF and the claim is buried on like page 4, how would you make that section stand out for verification purposes??? I'm leaving this one to you.
Anyway, why didn't you just verify this yourself? I typed "Costco largest pizza chain" into Google and found this on the first page of links. Let's figure there is probably like 12 people who "monitor" this article, and what's the chance that that editor will even come back to see the citation request? Seems like creating more work, and the fewer citation requests the better. Cheers. Elpablo69 (talk) 22:44, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- I did search for it, and didn't find it. Thank you for the source. --Matt (talk) 23:24, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Please see latest addition to Costco talk page. Elpablo69 (talk) 03:59, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

QualityControl3533 and Wikiman9223
Hi Matt, I also suspected these two of being the same user, and have opened a WP:SSP case: Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/QualityControl3533. -- Hawaiian717 (talk) 00:40, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- Cool - thanks for opening the case. I got distracted and didn't do it first. Cheers --Matt (talk) 01:19, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Apology and other users who are vandalizing Wikipedia, plus how to put refrences
Hi Matt, I just want to say sorry about that rough words saying that I will not talk to you again because of those edits. At that time I was soooooo mad, because you deleted my edits. Speaking of which, I saw an Australian wiki user,. His user name was 747-146(SUD). After his questions were rejected by Wj32, he got angry and said that he has hurt the Wikipedian's feelings. Because of that, his last reply was: next time you want something from me, fuck off. You can't even help me even a small bit (not the exact comment, probably). Can you consider about this vandalism. Talk pages are not chatting pages. Oh, and one more thing, how do I add refrences to Pacific Place Jakarta? -- 7472u3 (talk)
- With regards to 747-146(SUD), I don't see the existence of that user, and as you said on User talk:Wj32, it's over a year ago. With regards to references, you'll want to check out Wikipedia:Citing sources. The important things are making a section near the bottom of the page that looks like this:
==Notes== <references/>
and then to add references around the relevant section (usually at the end of the sentence like this:
The Sun is pretty big,<ref>Miller 2005, p. 23.</ref>
Hope that helps, --Matt (talk) 15:57, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Hyde Schools
I have your comment re: the "copyrighted materials". What materials do you believe are copyrighted?
Thanks
Gem555 (talk) 16:30, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- Please look at http://made-for-more.com/history. Your edit introduces text from that page into Wikipedia. Unless you wrote that text, it is unsuitable for Wikipedia per Wikipedia:Copyrights. Hope that helps --Matt (talk) 18:22, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. We have received permission from the Hyde Schools and submitted same to your organization. Therefore, I percieve the issue to be resolved. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gem555 (talk • contribs) 00:09, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Rollback misuse
This is an improper use of rollback. Please be more careful. Grsz11 01:48, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- I apologize, as rolling back does not allow an edit summary. However, I do not think your edits were productive, as you were ignoring the concerns raised by other users. --Matt (talk) 01:50, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- My edit was made before you added to the talk page, before that were sources saying otherwise. Grsz11 01:51, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- You ignored the other editor, who gave a completely legitimate reason. There were sources that said otherwise hours ago. I have also reviewed the rollback guidelines, and will not use it in this case in the future. However, you have an obligation to state your case on the talk page for the article instead of ignoring other editors. --Matt (talk) 01:54, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- And I stated my argument. He was wrong in reverting everything, including even mentioning it, and I undid that. Grsz11 02:01, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- Scratch that, he left the paragraph. The issue was the rollback, and that has been resolved. I really don't care much about adding it. Grsz11 02:03, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

References for Kidzania Jakarta
Hey MLRoach, how do I add references to my article, Kidzania Jakarta? Because articles always need a refrence, and if I don't get a reference soon, I don't know what is going to happen to that article. But actually, what is going to happen ROT9 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 13:50, 16 July 2009 (UTC).
- Check out how to cite sources. If the article isn't sourced, it could be deleted, but more likely other editors might tag it as needing sources, and might even work on the sources. Hope that helps! --Matt (talk) 04:55, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks a lot, it really helps. ROT9 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:05, 18 July 2009 (UTC).
How to add sources to pictures
Hey Matt, I was browsing Wikipedia one day and I saw a lot of copyright infrigments on pictures. I'm afraid that this would happen when I post a picture of something like aviation pictures from Airliners.net. How do I add sources to my pictures and tag them. Regards, RuleOfThe9th ROT9 ((talk} —Preceding undated comment added 11:57, 27 July 2009 (UTC).
- It should be pretty apparent when you upload an image if you follow the directions. --Matt (talk) 13:14, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, I followed every single guideline, and it worked! Cheers,--ROT9 (talk) 08:28, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
What do you think about Kidzania Jakarta?
You should check out the article, there should be an inspection every week about articles. ROT9 (Pit Paddock) —Preceding undated comment added 14:17, 30 July 2009 (UTC).
- I highly recommend you check out the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User program - I'm not very involved with Wikipedia right now, and an official mentor could help you much more than I could. I hope that helps! --Matt (talk) 17:23, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Can you suggest the best possible official mentor I could use to do this (e.g. Jimbo Wales)?--ROT9 (talk) 08:27, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I have no experience with the mentorship program. I think you can request a mentor without specifying one. --Matt (talk) 17:12, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

7472u3 is a Missing Wikipedian
Hi, Matt. Do you still remember 7472u3? If yes, do you see the presence of that user anywhere?--BoeingRuleOfThe9th-700 (talk) 01:28, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure he's kicking around, somewhere. --Matt (talk) 13:16, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Can't seem to reckon that, though. 7472u3 has not contributed since December 9, 2008. Do you remember him vandalizing a number of airline pages?--BoeingRuleOfThe9th-700 Contact Jakarta Center at 121.965 12:59, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
