Speedy deletion nomination of User:MIKAH0912/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:MIKAH0912/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. qcne (talk) 13:24, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Subject: Contesting the Speedy Deletion of User
- /sandbox
- Dear [qcne],
- Thank you for your feedback regarding the page that give info on a start-up. I understand the concern raised under the G11 criterion for speedy deletion. I would like to respectfully contest the deletion and provide clarification on my intentions for this article.
- The draft was intended to provide encyclopedic, verifiable, and neutral information about a company like any other enterprise, which I believe meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines based on it's role to be an open free source information. I now realize that some parts of the article might have unintentionally come across as promotional, and I am fully prepared to revise and rewrite the content to align with Wikipedia’s neutral point of view (NPOV) policy.
- I would appreciate the opportunity to improve the draft by: Immediately to begin revising my article to make it neutral and objective. Avoid any promotional phrasing (e.g., "the best," "unique," or any subjective claims).
- Add reliable, third-party references from notable sources (news articles, scholarly works, etc.) to demonstrate the subject’s notability.
- Removing any language that could be perceived as promotional.
- Adding more reliable, third-party references to support the content.
- Ensuring that the tone is encyclopedic and strictly informative.
- Please let me know if this approach would be acceptable, and if there are any specific areas you recommend focusing on during the revision process. Thank you for your understanding and guidance.
- Best regards,
- MIKAH0912
- P.S you can help me provide a better neuteral way to write a company profile MIKAH0912 (talk) 12:08, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @MIKAH0912, unfortunately it is already deleted. Wikipedia prohibits promotional content of any kind. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedic of notable topics, not a business directory or a marketing platform.
- If you wish to try again, read these first:
- - Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- - Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)
- - Wikipedia:Spam
- - Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch

- Dear qcne,
- Thank you for your hard work and dedication to Wikipedia, especially your efforts in reviewing drafts and maintaining the quality of articles. I see from your contributions and barnstars that you are a knowledgeable and dedicated member of the community( I must admit, I initially felt a bit frustrated and confused about the process, as I wasn’t fully aware of the rules and expectations.)
- I understand that my recent draft was deleted for being promotional, and I take full responsibility for not adhering to Wikipedia’s standards. As someone with extensive experience in Articles for Creation, I would be grateful for your advice on how I might better approach rewriting the article.
- Could you kindly provide guidance on:
- 1.How to better structure the content to avoid promotional tone?
- 2.Ensuring the subject meets notability criteria with appropriate references?
- I aim to contribute meaningfully and hope to learn from this experience. Thank you for your time and any advice you can offer.
- Best regards,
- MIKAH0912 MIKAH0912 (talk) 12:41, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
