WikiProject College football May 2008 Newsletter

The College football WikiProject Newsletter
Issue VI - May 2008
Project news
From JKBrooks85

Welcome to the latest issue of the College football WikiProject newsletter! I hope that you're enjoying regular updates about the goings on of college football on Wikipedia, but if not, feel free to add your name to the "no delivery" section on the newsletter signup page.

I encourage everyone to make regular visits to the College Football Portal and perhaps make it your Wikipedia entry page instead of using the Main Page as your gateway. Nominations for selected articles and pictures are always welcome, and can serve as a great way to show off that new article you just shepherded to Good Article status or the great picture you took the last time you were at a game.

Comments and suggestions on improving the newsletter are always welcome, and help me improve it on a monthly basis. Keep contributing and editing, and don't hesitate to contact me or post on the College Football Wikiproject talk page if you need help or just want someone to look over your article.

RF-8 Crusader Image

Information is there and it is a DoD image; the boilerplate notice you use isn't even on the mark. If you are indeed a Marine, you can easily check policy with your friendly PAO. DoD images that you continue to delete are in the public domain so there is no "copyright" status. I don't know what you are reading but it's all there. HJ (talk) 03:50, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

I have a better idea. How about you provide sufficient sourcing information, like you have to the other image, so that the image can be kept? You could provide this information when uploading so there isn't any problem for "jerks" like me to come along and harass you. Crazy, but it may just work. You should check all your other uploaded images. If you need/want help finding them, lemme know. Thanks for your understanding. MECU≈talk 00:51, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

That image says USN Photo on the photo. The source is USN; do you not get that? It therefore is in the public domain. What more do you want? HJ (talk) 01:18, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Please review Oscar Dahlene

You made an entry at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oscar Dahlene, and since that time the article in question has been improved to include significant facts. I ask you to review the page and determine if your have anything to add, remove, or modify.--Paul McDonald (talk) 13:21, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Your Talk Header

I thought you might want to change the text in your Talk Header box from "clicking the + on the navigation bar above" to something about clicking the "new section" tab since the + is no longer available. Just a thought - your call though. Have a good one. - Charleca (talk) 20:18, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
