[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Israel, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please stop adding massive changes to the article before reaching consensus on the talk page. --Super.zhid (talk) 12:03, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of JUST FOREIGN POLICY, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.justforeignpolicy.org/about/mission.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:56, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Your editing
[edit]You seem to be blundering into controversial editing. If you keep this up you'll end up blocked. So, some advice. Keep your edits strictly neutral. I get the sense you don't like Israel, but Wikipedia is not here for you to propagandise. You need to avoid editing according to your own opinion, and instead stick to entirely using reliable sources (and don't cherry pick them according to your preference). Please also avoid editorialising, don't use your own 'voice' in articles like you did with "A simple Internet research reveals photos taken after the massacre, many of which are from reliable sources." You really need to learn to edit properly in some less controversial areas. I suggest you ask for help from Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User to guide you in editing. Fences&Windows 00:29, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- I just stumbled into this doing "vandal patrol". I completely agree with the above, I think you should try to keep all of the above in mind. Anyway, thanks for the interest in contributing! Wikiscient (talk) 02:08, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

That is not true. I am not "do not like Israel", I am only trying to neutralize the content and add my input (my two cents) to it, so that it is cleaner and clearer to the public. Furthermore, I do not like the strong tone you are using with me. Yes I agree that I just started with Wikipedia and had to learn my way through still; but never the less, you cannot simply tag me by these words. I already did two great contributions that has been accepted. Please would you be able to take off these comments of yours (clean up) because I do not know how to clean up .... as mentioned, still learning my way through! thanks. # ME202012
- Welcome to wikipedia, ME202012! (see next section below for cookies and useful links to follow).
- One thing you should be aware of, though: being an editor here can be very contentious at times, but the most important thing is to know the rules and abide by them. You might also want to take a look at what wikipedia is not.
- Also, btw, most editors tend to leave others' comments up on their talk pages for at least a while, but usually you can delete anything you want from this page by just editing it and deleting the text. You SHOULDN'T just do that on any other "talk" page, though.
- You can sign your texts (and should always do so on talk pages) by just writing "~~~~" or hitting the "~~~~" link in the edit window.
- Good luck and happy editing! Wikiscient (talk) 03:50, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of The Palestine house
[edit]A tag has been placed on The Palestine house requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Your contributions
[edit]ME202012, please first read Wikipedia:Starting an article before starting any more articles!
You should also then become familiar with WP:SPEEDY so that you know why you have been getting all the warning messages above! If you persist, your efforts may become considered Disruptive Editing, which may then quickly result in your being BLOCKED FROM EDITING.
Thank you. Wikiscient (talk) 09:40, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi. Pending the AfD discussion, I've made a WP:DYK nomination for MV Mariam. As a contributor to the article, I've listed you as an author on the nomination. I'm not 100% sure of the etiquette here, but if you would prefer not be be on the nomination, please feel free to remove yourself, or leave a message on my talk page and I would be happy to do so. Articles for deletion nomination of Pro Palestinian
[edit]I have nominated Pro Palestinian, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pro Palestinian. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. WuhWuzDat 19:47, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
DYK for MV Mariam
[edit]On 5 September 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article MV Mariam, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:56, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
