I don't understand your question. What is the question about the article? It appears that there already is an article on this position. You may edit the article. The only thing that I did was to move your sandbox draft into draft space. I neither accepted nor declined the draft. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:27, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Robert, sorry my question was not clear. I deduced that I had made an error since you moved the article I edited from SANDBOX to DRAFT SPACE. I'm assuming that, next time, I should move it there myself prior to requesting a review. Is that correct? I do understand that you're not the one who will be accepting or declining the draft. I assume that someone else will be informing me when this step has been completed. Thanks for your time and guidance! ;-)

While the Draft namespace indeed is the preferred location for drafts awaiting review, you don't need to move a draft from your sandbox yourself; someone else can take care of that if you prefer. You will be informed on your talk page when the draft has been reviewed, but since we already have a Minister of State for Happiness (UAE) article that covers the same topic, there's no need for a second page. As Robert McClenon said, you're welcome to improve the article we already have. Huon (talk) 16:10, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
User:MC Lessard - I have a hard time answering a series of questions when the questions are asked in good faith but are based on an incorrect assumption in the first place. You started off concluding that you had made some mistake, and were asking me what it was. I don't like to start off by saying that your whole initial premise was wrong, but, as Huon answers, it was. You seem to have concluded that I moved the draft to draft space because you did something wrong. No. I moved it to draft space because that is one of the functions of the reviewer. Also, as noted, we already have an article on the post. Some new editors think that AFC can be used for articles that will replace existing articles. That isn't what is done. If you want to improve the article, discuss your improvements on the article talk page. Now, in the future, please ask me open-ended questions rather than starting off by assuming that you made a mistake. I don't like to start off by changing the question. If you have any more questions, please ask at the Teahouse. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:30, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Swister Twister: thanks for the above info. I'm still having a hard time with "Talk" so pardon me if this is not a well-formatted reply. My question is the following: Now that my article has been accepted for submission, is it in the cue for being published? --MC Lessard (talk) 21:39, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MC Lessard. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ministry of State for Happiness".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Hhkohh (talk) 12:13, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
