Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Epiphanes (gnostic), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Monad and Free Love. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop righting WP:GREATWRONGS on Covid

[edit]

The consensus on WP is that most “alternative views” on covid are dangerous unscientific misinformation. If you have a serious objection with reliable sources to back it up take it to the talk page. Dronebogus (talk) 18:45, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in COVID-19, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Talk page comments

[edit]

Hi Max. Let me explain why I reverted your Talk page comments. If you want discuss how to change content in an article, you will need to bring references from reliable sources that back your assertions. Simply claiming "article x is biased" isn't constructive. As WP:FORUM states: "[…] bear in mind that article talk pages exist solely to discuss how to improve articles; they are not for general discussion about the subject of the article". It is not the place for "Personal essays that state your particular feelings about a topic (rather than the opinions of experts).". Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 23:16, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Richard Franklin (actor), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberal Democrats.

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Oxymoron (Nik Kershaw album), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 11:28, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your work on The Pete Best Band. Not all topics are notable (suitable for a stand-alone Wikipedia article). The The Pete Best Band article does not cite sources establishing notability, so it may get deleted. A source shows that the article topic is notable when it:

If you can find notability-establishing sources, please add them: more than one is needed unless the applicable subject-specific notability guideline states otherwise. Specific questions can be answered live at the Teahouse help forum. Thank you. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 23:00, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
