Worldlingo...
[edit]... is not a reliable source. If you check the pages, they're copied from Wikipedia. You recently added a reference to North West Leicestershire local elections; I've removed it. You should look for alternative reliable sources. Fences&Windows 22:10, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Cannock Chase Local Elections
[edit]Great work with the Cannock Chase 2014 Local elections page and the Cannock Chase Council pages. I tried to keep up to date with the interesting political changes/defections/falling outs that are going on in the district through the footnotes but I'm not wiki-savvy enough to bring it up to the standards seen now. BTW I'm the John Preece of the Norton Canes Ward. Aprhys (talk) 20:31, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. 2021 Cannock Chase District Council election moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2021 Cannock Chase District Council election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Apologies, but how is a link to the election results of the actual council which was up for election not “reliable” or independent”? What possible other source could I cite other than the council itself? There are hundreds of articles of UK local election results (including several on the Cannock Chase District) which only cite the official results on the council’s website so why this article is unsuitable compared to any of those is beyond me.
The article only speaks about the election results, nothing more, so how is a citation of the official results on the council’s website not sufficient? You should think again or offer some suggestions as to how the article could meet your definition of suitability. M3gaM4sh (talk) 20:40, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
