Ione Taylor

Hi! I saw that you were trying to move your draft at User:M12345678999/Ione Taylor live. It has some issues that need to be resolved before it can be moved live, which I'll detail below:

This reads a lot like a CV or resume. Keep in mind that Wikipedia will only give a general overview of someone's life and career, so there isn't a need to list every job or occupation that someone has held. I would remove the list of jobs - anything important should already be listed.

Be careful of promotional and non-neutral writing. For example, avoid referring to her education as extensive. It's a term that can be a bit relative to the reader as some may see it as extensive and others may see it as average for a person of her position. It's also a descriptive term that would, in this context, be used to enhance Taylor's accomplishments to/for the reader.

There's no need to go into detail about an award granting organization. This is really only necessary in rare circumstances, as most awards will be more or less self-explanatory. In other words, you'd expect that someone would win an award for their career, like an author receiving an award for their writing. It also derails from the article's topic, which is Taylor herself.

Be extremely, extremely careful when writing so that you don't closely paraphrase or directly copy from a published source. Quoting is fine as long as it's marked and attributed clearly, albeit it should be done sparingly. Several portions of the draft are taken from sources like this, this, and this. I know that some things may be hard to rephrase, but it's not good to take entire passages. All work should be done in your own words - I would like you to re-review the training module on plagiarism and copyright.

Not all of the sources are usable. Avoid using wikis as sources, as most are reliant on user submitted data and do not verify the content for accuracy at all. For this reason I also highly recommend not copying material from there, as they also typically don't check for copyright violations either and not all use a copyright that would allow for us to copy material to Wikipedia.

You also want to use Linkedin sparingly as a source. It can be used as long as we can verify that it's her page, however it would be a primary source at best and is generally not the strongest source available for an individual. What you want to find are sources discussing her that are written by independent, reliable secondary sources.

With awards and honors sections, I've found that lists tend to work better than prose depending on the type and amount of awards that a person has received. It's more personal preference as far as that goes, however.
