Historical context and development
Under "Pre-Colonial History," maybe worth elaborating on how indigenous peoples had contact with other peoples in the Asia Pacific, but the relationship wasn't colonial or oppressive in the ways that Spanish/European colonialism were (rather than no outside influences whatsoever).
Also it def seems like you will expand the sections here later, but may be useful to include specific examples of colonial practices/teachings that would have created the mentality, and how they changed through Spanish, American, and neo-colonialism respectively. Also might be a good place to include photos or images if there's like media from the colonial period that demonstrates this!
(Not sure if "Westernization of the Philippines" is supposed to be a subsection under "Neocolonialism and contemporary oppression," but if it's not super long, it might just work to incorporate that into the neocolonialism section since it seems to be the theme of the entire section as well?)
Manifestations and examples
I think there are a lot of good examples here, but I feel like there's something I'm not understanding with the covert/overt distinction – like it seems like feeling cultural shame/embarrassment is very similar to feeling fortunate for having been colonized, but I am not yet clear on why one is covert while the other is overt? Possible other divisions might be like manifestations in terms of physical appearance, cultural practices, history and heritage...? (Perhaps.)
Mental health implications
It would be good to have specific descriptions of how these manifest in Filipino people, since the main articles are just about the general phenomena! I've heard that E.J.R. David does really relevant work on Filipino/American mental health (though it might be mostly focused on Filipino Americans, I'm not sure?). Another thought I had is that you've already done this, but it might be worth highlighting more how the colonial mentality is a common experience among both Filipinos in the Philippines and in the U.S., or maybe if there are differences in how it's experienced in the Philippines vs. overseas.
