Accept reason: Reduced the IP's block to anon-only, per uncertainty as to whether this is an open proxy. Lyanaz should be able to resume editing with his registered account. Will discuss the issue with the blocking admin. EdJohnston (talk) 19:47, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Rayburn college
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rayburn college, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. GILO ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY 13:32, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest
[edit]Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

Speedy deletion nomination of In-Rev
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on In-Rev requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. George Ponderevo (talk) 17:07, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
time slot
[edit]Wikipedia is not a directory or television guide. Your claim that the particular time slot in which a show is being broadcast is important will need to be supported by a third party source that not only tells the time slot, but explains WHY the position of a particular show at a particular time slot is important. ie "X show was placed in Y timeslot because the broadcaster thought it would provide a good draw in competition to Z show on COMPETITOR CHANNEL" or "because of the adult content, Z show was only able to be broadcast after children were asleep in the 11pm time slot." But without a third party making such analysis, a particular timeslot is purely advertorial trivia. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:24, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
I dont think we need to give a reason why the show is shown at a particular time. It is of the same logic as writing the show is shown from Monday to Friday etc. What difference does it make on writing the days for the show and the timeslot of the show. Why was the reason for the show shown on Weekdays not written? The timeslot is a necessary and valid information. Lyanaz (talk) 12:05, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Lyanaz
