Dal, I solved the quest. I don't have the treasure, but I have independent proof of the solve. Thanks.[1]
Brain, You have no evidence that you solved Forrest's treasure hunt. You have a photo of a place you think the treasure should be at...but it's not there. Further, you claim that since you found the location where the chest should be located, this is somehow clear evidence that he never hid the chest to begin with.
Your claims are unsubstantiated. You should remove this page or at the very least you should make it clear that you have no evidence of what you claim and it is merely your opinion.
Your recent editing history at Fenn treasure shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hi Lummifilm!
[edit]I just removed my notice about content blanking. I reverted your edit on Fenn's Treasure prematurely. I'm glad to see you reached out to the TeaHouse for guidance on what to do. It can take everyone a bit of time to respond. It's important that you don't continue to revert edits, even when you think or know you're right. While making and removing edits are part of the process here, we have a policy called the three revert rule (WP:3RR). Please take a moment to read it so you'll understand what it is and what happens when editors violate it.
Having said that, I want to welcome you to Wikipedia, and I hope you decide to stick around. If you ever have any questions, the TeaHouse is the perfect place to ask them. You are also welcome to reach out on my talk page anytime (the link is in my signature block).Orville1974 (talk) 18:48, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
