Wings TEC Critics Awards
[edit]I noticed you created Wings TEC Critics Awards, and created content which begins:
- These Awards have been found listed on many movie pages around Wikipedia. What they are, or who awards them is not known, as any search for them brings up other Wikipedia entries and nothing solid.
- This entry was created in an attempt to uncover the truth of these Awards.
Thank you for the due diligence. A preferred way of handling such an issue in the future is to put such comments on a questionable article's Talk page (in this case Talk:Wings TEC Critics Awards, which is where I'm moving your content). If no one replies within a reasonable time, you can then make use of the Deletion policy of your choice to eliminate the article. Be sure to use the article's What links here page (e.g. Special:Whatlinkshere/Wings TEC Critics Awards) to track down and clean up references to the soon-to-be-deleted article.
Clear evidence that Wings TEC Critics Awards is a WP:HOAX can be found looking at 201.102.49.167's contributions. When someone like 201.102.49.167 (talk · contribs) makes a bunch of unverifiable changes like what you see there, it's a pretty good clue that we're dealing with a hoax. 66.167.137.147 06:28, 11 April 2006 (UTC).
P.S. I hope that 66.167.137.147's contributions keeps you from becoming one of the Wikipedians against anonymous editing. :-) 66.167.137.147 06:28, 11 April 2006 (UTC).
- Thanks for clearing this up! I much appreciate it! LuminousSpecter 23:27, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]I saw your note on Angr's talk page - it used to say [1] it here - but it was since removed. I hope that helps. Megapixie 00:50, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Links...
[edit]I saw your note. I just want to say that I really do like NarniaFans. I don't remember exactly what I was trying to do, to be honest, but I didn't want to actually remove the link. (I'm still kind of figuring out how to do everything.) Thanks for putting it back in, and thanks for the note. I'll be more careful next time. :)
WikiProject Narnia

Please consider joining the WikiProject Narnia. Thank you! Bornagain4 23:33, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Logo disaster.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Logo disaster.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Voltron Panthera Force
[edit]A tag has been placed on Voltron Panthera Force requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
