Your edits to The Merchant of Venice

[edit]

Hi Luisvallejomohl,

Regarding your edits to The Merchant of Venice: on Wikipedia, plot summary sections are considered to be implicitly cited to the work they're summarising, and thus do not need separate cites in most cases. A similar issue holds for lead sections: they are supposed to summarise the content of the article, which is presumed to be cited in the article body, so separate citations in the lead are not needed. Regardless, though, welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for helping out! --Xover (talk) 08:20, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I think the maintenance template you were looking for is {{refimprove section}}. If you want to see how it renders, you can try it in your sandbox or view it at WP:TC. Just for future reference, please don't make custom messages to other editors visible in the text. You can pipe them in to templates—e.g., {{refimprove section|Oh no, there's only one reference!}}—or add them as hidden text: <!-- Help! Add references! -->. Either way, no one will see them unless they edit the article. (My examples were a bit facetious, of course. You probably wouldn't want to use that exact wording.) Happy editing! Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay

[edit]
Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
