Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. —Alalch E. 14:24, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your autobiography which you originally created on your user page is now located here. —Alalch E. 14:27, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Alalch.
I added References. Articles on myself are already present in Wikipedia, Italian and Russian.
Thanks for your attention.

More inline citations of reliable sources are required, in order to establish verifiability; Wikipedia has a principle of text-source integrity and every assertion of fact needs to be referenced. For example, I added a filled out {{cite news}} template to reference your Viareggio Prize, and this is what it looks like in the wikitext source code: diff. To learn more about referencing please see the Help:Referencing for beginners page. Referencing is conveniently done using the visual editor. By the way, as you have probably noticed, I made a mistake of moving the page to "Draft:Luciano Mecacci Firenze" instead of to "Draft:Luciano Mecacci". This can be corrected later. Sincerely —Alalch E. 18:12, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Alalch,
I put two more inline citations.
Thanks for your attention.

You are welcome. I made some changes to the draft which you can review using the history page (adding an Oxford UP encyclopedia reference, for example).
It's still early to try to submit. After even more references have been added, which, in totality, demonstrate the fulfillment of the aformentioned standard of inclusion (called "notability", meaning simply that the subject is suitable to be encyclopedically covered according to English Wikipedia's conventions, which have, over the years, become strict in practice for new articles – much more so than they are on the Italian and Russian Wikipedia), the process will involve several things: Placing in the draft the "Articles for Creation" template (which looks like this), and clicking the "Submit" button (I can place the template for you, but you should take care not to click the button); probably the most important thing is that you follow the WP:DISCLOSE instructions and put the required templates on your user page, and on the article's talk page (I can do this for you if you want).
The person who will decide if the draft will be accepted as a new article is an "Articles for Creation reviewer", and that will be someone other than me. It's possible then that yet another editor ("New Page Reviewer") will then have to approve the article for publishing on the Web (this is not automatic even for new articles accepted from a draft). Do not be disappointed if the whole process does not result in the article being included, this is normal. But I personally believe that there is some hope. Sincerely —Alalch E. 01:19, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Alalch,
thank you for your help. Would you be so generous to do what is necessary as you suggested (Articles for Creation, etc.), because I am afraid to be wrong in any step.
Thanks again,

I have submitted the draft and it has been accepted by a reviewer. If you have any idea for how to improve the article (Luciano Mecacci), please make suggestions on the article's talk page. Sincerely—Alalch E. 21:18, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Alalch,
thank you very much for your help and generosity.
