When have comments to post about an article, post them on the discussion page, not in the article itself. If you put them in the article, sometimes a bot will flag it as vandalism. I added an {{undercosntruction}} tag to tell editors that you're still working on this. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia's guide for citing sources as well.

Oh, by the way ...

Tishler article

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. It appears you have not followed this policy at Peter Tishler. Please always observe our core policies. Thank you.

The article reads like a book-jacket and not like an objective encyclopedia entry, as it should. Roadnottaken 15:52, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that you have some sort of connection with the subject, given your user name. The article has very serious issues, such as information about his personal life that is not referenced and cannot likely be verified by reliable sources. Moreover, the article reads like a biography that would be issued by a public relations agency workin on Tishler's behalf. It is not in the dispassionate, neutral tone strictly required of Wikipedia articles. The article is now in serious danger of being subjected to an article-for-deletion process. I strongly advise you to address these issues right away. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 13:37, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Peter Tishler

[edit]

The article Peter Tishler has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Blp with no sources which aren't deadlinks; tagged for notability for 7 years

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
