Hi there. Do you have a particular concern with the Intelligent vehicle technologies article? The fact that it may be a trademark is not really relevant to our article on the topic, and certainly it's not a decent reason for blanking the article. — This, that, and the other (talk) 09:56, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
I created the page
[edit]Well, Hello. Trademark laws are extremely complex, and at this point, my article can not be confused with the product. I am the original author of the page, and per wikepedia policy, in good faith, I request deletion of it.
Thank you, and Kind regards,
Luis Perez
As you yourself mention at the top of the article's talk page, "Please note contributions from the author (and other Wikipedians) continue to expound on the article and its contents" — other editors have made substantial edits to the article as well. For this reason, it does not fit the criteria of WP:CSD#G7. If you would like to see it deleted you will have to nominate it for deletion using the Articles for Deletion process. ... discospinster talk 02:23, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Please note
[edit]All I'm asking is that wp honor the csd. There is no nomination. I am the substantial contributor to the article . [CSD]] Copyright material. "Author requests deletion, if requested in good faith, and provided the page's only substantial content was added by its author. (For redirects created as a result of a pagemove, the mover must also have been the only substantive contributor to the page prior to the move.) If the author blanks the page (outside user space), this can be taken as a deletion request".
thank you.
Tedder, and Intelligent Vehicle Technologies
[edit]Tedder, you do not seem to understand Intellectual Property that is currently registered in the USPTO (I never said I owned the page). What I own is the name trademark "Intelligent Vehicle Technologies". I wish to allow the page to remain, as wp has provided me a tremendous service for people to understand telematic safety systems. This is the main reason that I also monetarily support wp every year, because it is a cause well worth it for the promotion of new technology. I wrote the Article, and I'm happy that you so dearly defend it my friend. Thank You! :) Lperez2029
Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident in which you may be involved. The discussion is about the topic Topic. Thank you. tedder (talk) 01:12, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
THANK YOU
[edit]I am aware of possible wikimedia foundation Conflict of Interest issues. I will allow the page Intelligent Vehicle Technologies to remain on wp. However, unwarranted manipulations of the page will cause the original author to delete. Thank you for the condiseration. Lperez2029 (talk) 01:18, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- You have no authority to delete the article. Please respond on the talk page. OlYeller21Talktome 03:44, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
Well, that remains to be seen. For now, the latest contributor has made a valuable contribution to the page, and so it remains. Have a nice day! :) Lperez2029 (talk) 18:52, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- No, it's pretty clear that you have zero authority or control over the contents of the article. Thanks! You too! OlYeller21Talktome 18:59, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- Also, you are wrong about owning the words Intelligent Vehicle Technologies. Luis A. Perez's Intelligent vehicle technologies US trademark essentially only covers United States automobile safety and security telematic system products having "Intelligent Vehicle Technologies" placed on them. Wikipedia is not an automobile safety and security telematic system, see Wikipedia:About, so your trademark does not extend to Wikipedia any more than McDonalds can prevent the New York Times from writing articles about McDonalds. If you pursue efforts outside of your trademark by asserting your trademark, you create risks against your property that could run afowl of WP:LAWSUIT. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 02:11, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Ask me to have the article permanently deleted and I will show you how. It may cost me an application fee, but I can do it. So, stop your threats. Thank You. Lperez2029 (talk) 21:57, 28 July 2012 (UTC) BTW, the article was originally copied and pasted from Intelligentvehicletechnologies.com, so, besides a trademark, there is also a clear copyright violation. Lperez2029 (talk) 22:02, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
- Wait, you copied it when you created it? Can you prove that? tedder (talk) 22:10, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
Yes. I wrote the original article, and today, it pretty much remains the same way as when I wrote it, ~6 years ago. Wikipedia policy never stated dates for deletion of articles for original authors.
I am the original author, and very little has changed. So I therefore (now) request deletion, as per wp policy, in good faith. Lperez2029 (talk) 22:51, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
- There's very little good faith around here, it seems. But the "delete by author" (Wikipedia:CSD#G7) is for "the only substantial content to the page and to the associated talk page was added by its author". That's not the case here. Again, please read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. You "gave away" the content when you submitted the content. tedder (talk) 23:04, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
I gave nothing away. And you are correct, there is very little camaraderie, common courtesy, or even trust now a adays on wp. I would have written some more articles, but go figure.. If you are willing to speak for the wp foundation, then I will file a lawsuit in fc next by week attesting to the facts. It's up to you. Lperez2029 (talk) 23:13, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved. tedder (talk) 23:28, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
