Begin Again (film)

[edit]

Hi Loveisatoowaystreet, I can see you've been creating pages relating to the soundtrack of the 2014 film Begin Again. It looks like you are new here, and I'm glad to say that you seem to be doing the right kind of things - please let me know if I can offer you any assistance or advice with Wikipedia. Also, one important thing - you need to become aware of the policies that govern content in Wikipedia, specifically Verifiability. We try to make sure that everything in the encyclopaedia can be verified with Reliable Sources. Often that means not writing what you know but writing what the sources say. --Salimfadhley (talk) 11:31, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that everything needs to be verified - and have only written facts. It seems like you may be connected to Nick Southwood as you are in Muswell hill and so is he? are you friends with him?

Hi Loveisatoowaystreet, I have created articles for a number of local celebrities, and yes I do live in Muswell Hill. Speculation aside, please be familiar with the relevant policies: Verifiability, Reliable Sources.
It's important to note that Wikipedia is not intended to be a collection of 'facts' or 'truth' but a collection of reliable secondary sources. Hence, verification is not something that we (the editors) do, but something that Wikipedia's readers can do because we provide appropriate sources. That means what matters is not so much what you know to be true but what the reliable sources say. --Salimfadhley (talk) 22:58, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning: Please provide citations for any statements you add to Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi Loveisatwowaystreet, I noticed you recently made the following change to the Begin Again article. While detail is always welcome in Wikipedia it's very important to only include statements which can be verified with reliable sources. Could you add a source for this information? It may be that you have some kind of connection to this production - if so I'd urge restraint. You may know a lot about this subject but you must only write what you can prove! --Salimfadhley (talk) 12:37, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Nick Lashley

[edit]

Hello Loveisatwowaystreet. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Nick Lashley".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Nick Lashley}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 20:31, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
