Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Dan Rizzuto

Hi Lookingfor13, thank you for your email. Going forward, please feel free to post messages on my talk page, unless they are of a private nature. I was planning to leave you a message regarding your edits on Diana Lee Inosanto's page, actually, just giving you some tips about grammatical accuracy and the use of correct wikimarkup. I'm guessing you are a new user, and sometimes it can take time to get the hang of all the different aspects of markup, so there's nothing to worry about, but my suggestion would be to try and follow existing uses, which you can see either in the article that you are editing or others you can look up. For example, in your last edit, you mentioned the show The Mandalorian. The convention on Wikipedia is to include a wikilink to the relevant page, unless it has been mentioned previously, and as the title of a major work, to enclose it in double quotation marks (as I have done). As for the question in your email, you are free to add content to the article, as long as it is referenced, at least in a general way. So, for example, if you were to make a claim about Inosanto's career or personal life, it is preferred that this claim be supported by an outside source, such as an online article, a book, etc. Not every statement has to be referenced, of course, but if you write a paragraph that is grammatically incoherent and doesn't include any references, it will likely be deleted by an editor who is watching the article, such as myself. I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.
