Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:02red_cyan.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 20:40, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ivana Djokic 02.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:02red cyan.jpg. The copy called Image:02red cyan.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Triznakinje poster.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 21:22, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Articles and conflict

[edit]

You have been creating a large number of articles that are not up to wikipedia standard. Please see out notability policy. I believe you are familiar with the topic, because you deleted a notability tag that someone had placed on one of your articles. But just in case, you may want to re-read the notability policy. Keep in mind that articles that do not explain their significant can be deleted on sight. Articles that are more questionable can still be subject to the deletion process at WP:PROD and WP:AfD. Also, keep in mind it is always a good idea to add sources for all information you add, per WP:ATT.

Next, you appear to be writing articles about yourself, your company, and things that are closely related to you. Have you read WP:COI, wikipedia's conflict of interest page? It is generally discouraged to write about things so close to yourself, and if you do, great caution should be taken.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact me, or add {{helpme}} to this user talk page. Thanks for your consideration.-Andrew c [talk] 01:35, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One last thing, please keep in mind our image use policy. You can't simply take any image you find on the web, or myspace, and upload it as your own. You really have to own the copyright of the images in order to release them into the public domain. -Andrew c [talk] 01:37, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree Image:Ivana_Djokic.jpg

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 04:37, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted

[edit]

Tijana, I deleted all your contributions per WP:CSD#A7. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for self-promotion, and you have been using it just in that manner. The articles about actors or films you created are just your friends and their works, and they barely have any media coverage. Doing a quick research, you might just pass the Wikipedia standards, but only just -- Tijana Stević (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) is deleted as well, on the principle. The case is being discussed at WP:AN#To speedy or not, and you're welcome to request undeletion on Wikipedia:Deletion review. Thanks. Duja 11:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Christian Borle.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
