Polonization

[edit]

I had to revert your changes. Some of your edits altered the outside text attributed to the historian. The "dubious" tag you added was to the sentence that was also referenced. Please make sure when you edit the text, you do not edit anything that falls between <ref> and </ref>. Regards, --Irpen 00:56, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I'll pay more attention next time,,because for now I do see that I was wrong. Although there is quite a misunderstanding, adn someone could read that the whole GDL was absorbed by Crown of Poland -that's where I was misled.--Lokyz 09:08, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Nationalist"

[edit]

Hi, I think there might be some confusion over the word "nationalist" as used in Hovhannes Bagramyan. I know the word is sometimes used in a derogatory fashion (like calling fascist parties "ultra-nationalist"), but basically it just means "devoted to a particular nation". Since the partisans in question were fighting for their particular nations, the term applies.

Please

Try to keep it civil. If, in your opinion, an article is bad, work on it. Robbskey 01:01, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As there aren't any mistakes in the article with regards to WP:POLICY, WP:CITE and WP:STUB, I don't see why you feel the need to be so confrontational. You'll find people respond better to you if you will be a little less so. Yes it is short, but it's one day old and is an active project of WP:LE. So unless you have anything relevant to add to the article in relation to law enforcement, please stop trying to be condescending. Robbskey 02:02, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Again, nothing wrong with either: a. reference (check Wikipedia:Citing sources#Footnotes), b. WP:LEAD (it's a stub, remember?) c.obviously, if you read the title, it's about law enforcement in Lithuania, and again, is an active project of WP:LE. Nonetheless, you should have approached this in a much more civil way and I would have been less defensive. Robbskey 13:14, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your interest in helping. Sorry if I was short with you. Robbskey 15:31, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Your comment is appreciated, and I can see why you want the Law enforcement in Lithuania article up-to scratch as you are in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Lithuania, my apologies about the comment but remember i said it was a sign of insecure personalities not that you have one. The reasons are all clear now. I hope you accept the apology and we can get back to making a better encyclopedia. Best Regards Dep.
