Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Lobuttomize", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it seems to refer to an inhumane, dangerous neurosurgery called Lobotomy, making harmonious editing difficult in a diverse community that may contain affected people. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:16, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Think it's too goofy to be taken seriously, to be honest. I've never heard a complaint about it before and I don't really have a reason I had named myself this. Retroactively, I've always thought it would be like a lobotomy on a butt-head. Regardless, I think lobotomies are still, very rarely, a potential option for severe mental disorder treatment, though almost unheard of in current times; similar to a corpus callosotomy in terms of extreme, last-resort options. I don't think the word needs to be blacklisted in usernames due to the dark history of mental illness treatments, anyway. Don't believe that we all need "intellectual" or just plain milquetoast names to have civilized edits. Lobuttomize (talk) 23:41, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
