Finning
[edit]Hi, I've been taking a look at some of the recent changes to Finning. Please can you confirm whether you have any connection to the company? You've inserted a lot of content recently about the company's ethos, vision, values etc., which seems quite promotional. In case you do have some sort of connection to the company, I'd like to draw your attention to our policies on paid editing and conflicts of interest. [edit]Hello, I'm Girth Summit. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Finning have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. The company's website is not a reliable source GirthSummit (blether) 20:08, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Finning, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia does not care what a company has to say about itself. Its "ethos, vision, and values" are unencyclopedic and unimportant. Wikipedia DOES care about presenting objective, neutrally-phrased content. If you have an affiliation with the company you MUST disclose it and you must not make any edits directly to the article. You are on the precipice of blocking. Julietdeltalima (talk) 23:20, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
