Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Customer service do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Kuru (talk) 19:40, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Worm[edit]

I see you tried to work on this and ran into anti-promotional + other flak a couple of times. I happened to find my way there with a "third-party" source a little later; we'll see if that stands up. Another editor and I did some of the same here. In short, I'm just here to encourage you not to be discouraged (that "courage" root) by the initial flak (term related to the PR term? unclear). I see you've tried a few other edits, too. Hope you keep at it. Here's a way to watch another aspect (via the "Page view statistics" link on the "View history" page).

I also like to encourage new "red name" users (editors) to click the red "User page" tab above and create a user page (whatever you want; little, often, to start). "Gets the red out" and continues building the platform I guess I could call it. Cheers! Swliv (talk) 00:26, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Napoleon Hill. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Tgeorgescu (talk) 11:47, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Petzold moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Chris Petzold, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
