The stats provided on Liverweb are an encyclopedic addition in my opinion. Yes I run the website but it includes vast amounts of data on players that is not already on wiki (talk)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Graeme Souness. Inappropriate links include links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that serve as advertising or promotion. Thank you. I don't understand how the link to a profile page on a website is any different to any other website links thrown on. I am meticulous in the stats provided in a player profiles page.Liverweb - Liverpool Stats in one site (talk) 14:54, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Liverpool Senior Cup. J.delanoygabsadds 14:16, 26 August 2008 (UTC) ::I have no knowledge whatsoever of what you are talking about. I was patrollingm for vandalism, and I saw you make a threat. Using threats to get your own way is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. J.delanoygabsadds 14:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC) ?? I dont understand and certainly do not want to threaten anyone with regards to what is a superb project. I accept you can't have knowledge of everything but i tried to add the extra info.[reply]

Heh, sorry. I got you mixed up with someone else :S Anyways, I saw you adding a lot of links to different pages. Wikipedia is not a mere collection of external links, and if you add links pointing to the same website to a lot of pages, you will likely be looked at as a spammer. Please see WP:LINKS for more info on our guidelines for external links, or links to sites other than Wikipedia. J.delanoygabsadds 14:41, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:49, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Signing articles

[edit]

Hi. You should always sign your edits on talkpages, but articles should never be signed like you did with Nathan Eccleston (I've already removed the signature), as nobody owns articles in Wikipedia. Thanks! --Twinzor (talk) 17:31, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

excellent many thanks for this. I did think my sig shouldn't have been on but then i'd had something saying to always use the sig file

AfD nomination of Nathan Eccleston

[edit]

I have nominated Nathan Eccleston, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nathan Eccleston. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
