Welcome etc.

[edit]

Considering you are a vanished user, I'll spare you the template, but could you please explain the Wizard of Oz reference in Macedonia (terminology)? BalkanFever 23:48, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

What minor problems are you talking about specifically? Please tell me. And if they are minor, then there is no harm if the map stayed posted for now. Polibiush (talk) 03:20, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If its about terminology, then its not really a concern since the source uses both names. Polibiush (talk) 03:31, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain what you meant by saying "This looks a petty natio-political struggle"? Polibiush (talk) 04:15, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are clearly engaging in "polemics", yet again you seem not to understand some simple and straight-forward points in the discussion page of the said image. I will not participate into these games. --LittleTinMan (talk) 04:20, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to me now that you are removing that map because you may feel that the presence of such a map with "minority languages" will lead to the reader thinking that there just might be "ethnic minorities" in Greece. Tell me, is that what's bothering you? Because if that is the real problem behind your concern, then what can I say? But anyway, let me ensure you that this is only a linguistic map, and it is not a natio-political struggle that is going on, but more of an attempt by you to censore the ideas which you fear will uncover deeper controversies and debate. Sigh. Polibiush (talk) 04:41, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe everybody should calm down here. Let's just discuss it instead of edit-warring. Polibiush, leave the map out for now - it will be placed in the articles in due course. LittleTinMan, try not to attack Polibiush. BalkanFever 04:40, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article ban. Thank you. You have violated the three-revert rule on Greece. Any administrator may now choose to block your account. In the future, please make an effort to discuss your changes further, instead of edit warring. Since you are not a new user, you will be reported without a further warning.
